Thanksgiving Day Charcuterie Board
Hi friends! I'm excited to be back with another fun and festive charcuterie board idea for y'all. Hannah and I played around with a Thanksgiving Day inspired cheese board this past weekend. We had seen an idea to shape a turkey out of the meats and cheeses and wanted to put our own spin on it all. It turned out SO cute!
I will list all of the meats, cheeses and crackers we used at the end of this post. But we ended up shaping the body of the turkey out of Hannah's signature cheese ball that has proven to be a family favorite. It's so easy as well! I'll share how to make that as well. One other little detail I added that turned out SO cute...the pumpkin pie slices (made of cheese and crackers, of course). I'll list the directions for them as well. And if you're more of a visual learner like I am, head over to this reel over on my IG for a tutorial of this board. You can also catch a little "how to" of the pumpkin pie pieces under my "charcuterie" highlight on IG.
Set aside half the amount of bacon, cranberries and nuts. Mix remaining ingredients, then roll on remaining mixture of bacon, cranberries, and nuts. Refrigerate overnight.
Cheese:
Chipotle Gouda Cheese, Tennessee whiskey Bellavitano and Sharp cheddar cheese
Meats:
Herb coated salami, Prosciutto and Sopressata salami
Crackers:
Rainforest Crisps Cranberry & Hazelnut crackers and toasted butter crackers
Extra Garnish:
Apple slices, Honey pistachios & pumpkin spice pretzels
Cheese pie slices:
Triscuit thins (triangle shaped), Chicken in a biscuit Crackers, Sharp cheddar cheese and cream cheese (place inside a piping bag. make sure cream cheese is thawed.)

Gift Guides 2021: Gifts for Kids
Hi friends and happy Saturday! I told myself pretty early on this year that I was going to have all of my Christmas shopping finished up by Thanksgiving so that I can better enjoy the Christmas season. I've been asking on Instagram stories, which gift guides y'all would like to see, and gifts for kids is always pretty highly requested. From what I'm getting Madeline this year, to things she has loved from past given gifts, I always have a running list. Today I'm going to be sharing what's on M's wishlist, and more than thirty gift ideas for both boys and girls each (however most are great ideas for both boys and girls). See the guide below :)

We Designed a Dress! Burgundy Corduroy Wrap Dress
Words can't say just how excited I am to be sharing today's blog post! Y'all know my love for a twinning mama and me look runs deep. It's something Madeline and I love to do! I feel like this time of the year, with all the festivities among us, makes it extra fun and gives even more of a reason to get dressed up. I've been working on this project for a few months, and y'all...I DESIGNED A DRESS! Ahhh I still can't believe it. I have been a long-time fan of Little Mia Bella, a favorite shop where I've been finding adorable twinning pieces for a few years now. My dear friend and the owner of LMB, Yotzelin, asked me to design a piece for fall/winter 2021, and I immediately said yes! We've been working on this project for months, and it's so surreal to finally see the finished product come to life.
Conversations, texts, fabric samples, sketches, product samples, and the list goes on, are just a few of the details behind making this dress possible. We spent so much time perfecting every little detail! From the very beginning, I started thinking on all my favorite elements of fall fashion. I've always loved a good corduroy piece! I had no idea corduroy would be so in this season, but I've always seen it as a timeless fall texture. I decided a corduroy faux wrap dress would be the perfect piece to create. It's a faux wrap dress, so that you don't have to worry about it staying put. It snaps closed (I also wanted it to be breastfeeding friendly), and has the pretties little bow detail! I also wanted it to have a cinched in waist to define the waistline a little, but not be too cinched in. It's the perfect amount! The sleeves are perfectly puffed with a tad bit of pleating. And the ruffle tiered detailing at the hem is the most gorgeous touch! I wanted it to be a midi length so that it would work for different heights. I'm 5'2, for reference. The kids size, being midi as well, will give your little one some extra room to grow with :)
Adult sizes range from S-XL and are $33 ($29 with my discount code) and kids are 6/9 months to 6/8 years coming in at $25 with my discount code: RACHELXLMB

Pink Tweed Skirt + Three Styling Ideas
I've been on the hunt for a cute, fun and something a little different to wear on my birthday. I have purchased this gorgeous off the shoulder bow top and knew right away I wanted it to be my birthday top. I then found this ADORABLE pink tweed skirt (that also comes in brown). With the fringe, I felt like it would be the perfect piece! I then started to think on a few ways to style it. I don't like to purchase something I'll only wear once, so I always try to think of multiple ways to style one piece. I realized this skirt would be adorable styled with a sweater front-tucked + boots, the OTS bow top + heels for something a little dressier, and also with a graphic tee layered with a denim jacket or cardigan and sneakers or a pair of booties for something casual. See all the ideas below!

Moana Family Halloween Costumes
Hi friends! Goodness I can't believe we're already to November. October felt like it flew by! I hope y'all had a wonderful Halloween. Madeline got candy until she said her bag was too heavy to carry haha, so I'd call that a success. Anyways, I was so excited to share our family Halloween costumes with y'all on IG last night. I also wanted to go ahead and publish a blog post on them as well, so that they can have a permanent spot on my Blog. This theme was SO fun to do! I always joke that Madeline has an inner Moana haha. Her love for the ocean, dreams of becoming a marine biologist someday and just overall adventurous spirit makes me think of Moana. Not to mention she's had an obsession with water for as long as I can remember haha :) My friend Georgie took some photos of us before Halloween, because I really wanted to document our costumes in their setting. We always do a Halloween costume contest each year, so My friend Harita made Moana's raft as an awesome prop for the contest. Jaycee and Charlie joining in with us is always so fun as well. They made the perfect Hei Hei and Pua. I never imagined turning myself green, but being Te Fiti, it kinda felt natural. Cathy from Prima Fashions created Madeline's Moana dress, and my dress was a custom creation from her as well. She is incredibly talented and always makes our costume dreams come true! I have quite a few photos to share and will link everything at the end of the post.
