Hello friends! I hope your week is off to an amazing start. I don't know about y'all, but for the past few weeks, I have had to reserve Monday for simply getting my thoughts together for the week. Mondays can be so rough, it seems, so for me it's a great day for simply plan out your week ahead. Then there's Tuesday! Sweet, wonderful Tuesday. I love Tuesdays. Monday is behind you, and you can sort of begin to feel like you're on a great track for the week (some of the time, at least haha). I do really love Tuesdays. Next to Friday, I'd have to say it's one of my favorite days of the week.

Well not that I've rambled about weekdays for a bit, I thought it would be fun to share a little about dressing for the winter while feeling like you've got a hint of spring. Yes, white jeans are the answer! I know this is a controversial topic for some haha. I'll admit, I used to be a firm believer that the "no white after Labor Day" rule was one to stick to. However, now I say it's just plain silly. I'll wear my white pants whenever I want, thankyaverymuch :)

I am completely over winter, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. One way to dress for winter without feeling so..."winter" is to style your white jeans with cozy sweaters and cardigans. This way, you're mixing in some winter pieces for warmth with crisp, white, just to remind you that spring will be here before we know it. Throw on a pair of boots or mules and you're good to go! I honestly love wearing my white jeans all year round. About this time of year is when I especially love pulling them out, and I enjoy them all spring and summer long. The pair I'm wearing here is my all-time favorite mid-rise pair. Yes, I have a favorite high-rise pair as well, but this pair I have probably washed over 100 times and they go back to being good as new each time. They're soft, stretchy and absolutely amazing! I may order a new pair for this spring.

I can't end this post without mentioning this cute, mix-knit cardigan. I love the fun touch that the mix knit with contrasting pockets adds. So. Darling. It's under $60! I love the way it looks paired with grey. Oh, and if you want to know the secret to knotting up the front of your t-shirt as I have mine in this post, purchase one that's either has slits on the sides or has a rounded hem, like them one I'm wearing here. That detail makes it to where you can tie it up with ease.

Do you wear your white jeans in the winter?

Well, that's about all I have for today! I hope y'all have the best Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by!

25 Pink Things

25 Pink Things - Click through to see the full list on Something Delightful Blog
25 Pink Things - Click through to see the full list on Something Delightful Blog

Hey Friends! It's no secret that I love the color pink! It has always been my favorite color (except for those strange years as a kid where I only wanted to wear the color orange haha...what was I thinking?!). The color pink just makes me happy. I have a few shades of pink that I would consider to be my "favorite shades" but in actuality, I'm a fan of just about any shade of pink that comes my way. My love for pink grew even more when I found out that Madeline was a girl. It was like my entire life turned pink right in front of me, and it has never gone back since then :) I feel like I've been wearing a ton of pink recently. Since Valentines Day is almost her and spring (or at least transitioning into spring) is just around the corner, pink is definitely a hot color to fill your wardrobe with. Especially right now when it's winter and I really don't want to be dressed in heavy sweaters with boots, I try to wear pinks to remind me that spring will be here before we know it! In honor of my love for pink, I decided to round up 25 of my current favorite pink items. I'll take about a few of them below.

These pink wedges? Get in my closet! I would probably consider this shade of pink to be my favorite of all. I could not imagine a more perfect pink wedge. This brand is actually my favorite brand for sandals. I will be sharing more about these later, but I've already purchased two pairs for spring, because they tend to sell out quickly!

What's better than pink is pink + gold. How darling are these $16 sunnies?! I'm definitely ordering these. I simply can't resist them, especially for the price.

I am also so obsessed with Kendra Scott's new spring line. I love are so many of the pieces are unexpected while still keeping that traditional hint of KS style. These earrings and this bracelet are beyond gorgeous!

I couldn't not put my favorite pink lipstick on this list, MAC 'Angel'. I wear this one all the time, especially in the spring and summer months. It's the perfect pink!

This gingham nightshirt also has my heart. It's basically perfection and also comes in blue. Nightshirts are my favorite to sleep in, and y'all know I have a thing for gingham.

I ordered these velour jogger pants for one of my Mama's bday gifts. They're sooo soft! I have a feeling she will be living in these!

Yes, a few home decor items made the list. Target has done it again with their newest blush and pink collection. This bench is pure perfection! There's also a chair to match!

Y'all probably saw Madeline and I wearing our matching knitted heart cardigans on here this week (if you missed it, you can check out the post here). They're so cute that I had to include mine in this list. It's so perfect for V-Day, but the hearts are subtle enough to wear it all winter long.

This pink t-shirt is a recent purchase of mine. I'm always stocking up on shirt sleeved t-shirts because I wear them under cardigans, around the house, with workout leggings and more. In other words, I get a ton of use out of them! I usually order two whites since they tend to get dingy after a few too many wears. But this one is only $17! I ordered the pink this time around because I thought it would again be the perfect way to brighten up some winter looks by wearing it underneath a cardigan. Since it has a raw hem, you can tie it up on the ends for a cute touch (see how I'm wearing my t-shirt in this post to see what I mean).

The last item I want to mention is this gorgeous pink flutter sleeve shift dress! I absolutely love the sweet sleeve details. Would't this be the perfect Valentines or Galentines date dress? It's also an ideal dress for work, church and so much more. I couldn't not include it on the list.

I seriously could ramble on and on about every item on this list, but I'm sure y'all would prefer me to stop here. But if you're looking for a Valentines Day gift idea, looking for an gift idea for yourself to put into your Valentines head :), or simply love the color pink like I do, then I hope y'all enjoyed this post! I want to start doing more color themed posts like this, so stay tuned. Who knows, I may even publish another pink post before Valentines.

And one last thing, I simply can't end this post without saying a big happy birthday wish to my best friend, my rock, my biggest encourager, my Mama. I have mentioned before that she takes 95% of my blog photos, so it's only fitting that she deserves a happy birthday wish here on Something Delightful. My favorite moments in life are usually the ones that involve both Madeline and my Mama...we have so much fun together! I'm so thankful for the example she has set for me that is now being passed down to Madeline. If you're reading this Mama, I love you and thank you for much for all you do.

Have a great weekend, friends!

Hello friends! Happy Tuesday! Today, Madeline and I are back with the cutest mommy and me look that's perfect for Valentines Day! If y'all remember this post from a few weeks back, I mentioned that I had actually ordered these cardigans for us and that y'all would be seeing them on here soon. Well, here they are, and I couldn't be any more obsessed! I love how they are contrasting shades of pink. With Madeline's pink Hunter boots throw into the mix, I absolutely love the shades of pink featured here. I am definitely a pink girl, so seeing so much pink this time of the year makes me so happy.

Our cardigans have the cutest knit heart details all over them. They come in several colors for both moms and kids. They're so cozy and would be perfect for a chilly day. They do fit a bit roomy. I'm wearing the xs/s and definitely have lots of room. Madeline is wearing the 2/3, and I have a feeling she will most likely be able to wear it again next year. But I think they're just the cutest thing! The great thing about hearts is that they're perfect for V-Day, of course, but you can also wear them all year round. I've purchased a few heart pieces for Madeline, and she will be wearing them well after Valentines Day, for sure. Speaking of pinks, I just ordered this raw hem t-shirt in the prettiest pink! With it being a raw hem, I will be able to tie it up as I am doing with the one in this post. It comes in several colors and is only $17!

I hope y'all have an amazing Thursday! I'm so excited that we're almost to the weekend. These new few days are filled with family birthdays for us! My brother's birthday is today, my Granddad tomorrow and my Mama's is Saturday! Three days in a row, and then my sister is next week. Yep, the gift buying does not stop at Christmas for my family as we get to do it all over again for birthdays in January. But we're excited to celebrate them all :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Do y'all have your Valentines Day look picked out yet?

Bow-Back Sweater (under $80 and comes in SIX colors) // Similar White Jeans (same inseam as the ones I'm wearing here) // Bow Mules (Under $70) // Tory Burch Half-Moon Satchel // Coin Necklace // Bangles // Earrings // David Yurman Bracelet

Happy Tuesday Friends! I don't think I've ever been so excited to share a look with y'all as I am to share this one today. Today's looks is definitely an outfit of BOWS! If you've been following me for awhile, you know that I have a deep love for bows. I've always had a bow incorporated into my blog design, and if you've been following me for a really long time, you may know that the second post I ever posted to my blog was about hair bows haha. I've owned quite a few bow pieces, but I think this one tops them all.

I mean, have you ever seen such a darling sweater?! Three perfectly placed bows down the back of this sweater make it absolutely irresistible, if you ask me. When I saw it online, I immediately knew that I had to have it. When I pulled it out of the package, it was ever more amazing than I anticipated it would be. It reminds me of a much more expensive version that I've seen from Club Monaco. This one is amazingly priced at under $80. It comes in SIX colors, including navy, white, the most gorgeous light blue and more. I chose this color because I think it's perfect for now and when it comes time to transition into spring (it will be here before we know it!). Last year, spring weather hit here in Georgia late February, so I'm already preparing :) Anyways, if you love a good bow, this sweater is for you! It's going fast, so don't miss it! I promise it's one you'll love. I'm also obsessing over this one and am thinking about purchasing it in pink that has seersucker bows down the back.

Speaking of bows, these mules are also perfection. I knew they would compliment this look perfectly. I purchased these cuties months back, but I think this is my favorite pairing with them yet. They're also super reasonably priced at under $70 and come in a handful of colors. Mules are also a great way to transition into spring. If you're like me, then there comes a time (usually first of March) when I'm absolutely over boots. Mules will certainly be my go-to!

I hope y'all have an amazing Tuesday! Are you bow obsessed like I am? :)

Sweater (50% off with code COZY) // Jeans // Mules // Bag (also in this color) // Pendant Necklace // Bangles // Earrings

Hey Friends! TGIF! I've mentioned on here before that I love sharing some "dressier" looks. Ones that I wear to church and such, but I also love to share what I put on for a normal day of mom life, working on my blog and school, running errands, etc. My go-to look for the winter is without a doubt jeans, a sweater and a pair of mules. Looks like this honestly don't require that much thought, and that's sometimes exactly what I need for a busy routine.

I love this sweater so much, mainly because of the cutouts around the shoulder area. It resembles a cold shoulder look without actually being a cold shoulder since the cutouts don't expose the entire shoulder. I also love the soft shade of pink of this sweater. I chose the pink for a few reasons. First off, I mentioned the other day that I try to stick to lighter and brighter colors for the winter time as it helps me to avoid the winter blues when dressing each day. Another reason that I'm choosing lighter colors for right now is that they will be great for transitioning into spring with in just over a month. This sweater is particularly perfect for that. It looks great with white denim and will be the perfect look come March, early April. The best news about this sweater is that it's currently 50% off with the code "COZY", making it only $24!

Something else I want mention about my look are these mules. I absolutely love them! I purchased them back in the fall to be the perfect neutral, throw-on-and-go shoe. They have been just that! I have worn these things out! I love mules in general because they're easy to slip on. However, they make a look appear so much more put together, if you ask me. The light brown shade of these is simply amazing. They really do go with so much. This particular shoe comes in multiple colors and runs TTS. I highly recommend these!

I mentioned earlier that my sweater is on major sale. Well, when I purchased this sweater last week, I purchased a few other pieces as well since the sale was so amazing. As I said, the sale is back again for this weekend, so I figured that I'd share a few of the other pieces that I purchased and others that I am loving. All of these pieces below are 50% off with the code "COZY".

PEARLS? Yes, please! I couldn't be more obsessed with this top. I purchased it to wear now with denim and with white jeans to transition into spring with. It's gorgeous! This top is on sale for $29!

You can do SO much with navy and white stripes. I purchased this top to be one of those versatile pieces that you wear all too often haha. I love it for now with a cozy scarf or under a vest and for later with white jeans and pink sandals :) The sleeves on this piece are amazing. It's on sale for only $22!

I purchased this skirt because I love the vibrant colors in the tweed...hot pink, light pink, turquoise, yellow and more. It's gorgeous! I tucked my favorite ruffle sweater into in and loved the way it looks! It also looks amazing with black knee-high boots. It's on sale for $34.

I did not purchase this top because my local store didn't have it, but I absolutely love it! I love the way that the stripes are positioned and feel it would be another versatile piece for now and spring. It's on sale for $24.

I feel this would be an amazing Valentines Day dress! The puff sleeves add the cutest touch, and of course the shift dress style makes it my favorite cut for a dress. I love this piece so much and have it in my shopping bag. It's on sale for $39!

This darling sweater is also perfect for V-Day. I love all the hearts and the reds and pinks. This sweater represents all of that perfectly. It would be so cute paired with white jeans and mules! It's on sale for $29!

Y'all know how much I love chenille. The cut of this cardigan looks amazing! The shade of pink also looks gorgeous. This item is also currently in my shopping bag. It's on sale for $29!

I love love love these and feel they would again be perfect for transitioning into spring with. I may order them and try them, because I'm obsessed with this shade of pink. I also love that these have distressed knees as I don't think I've ever seen a pair like this. They're on sale for $39.

Did you score anything good from the LOFT sale?!

Have a great weekend, friends!
