Currently Loving

Current Favorites - Something Delightful Blog

Hello, hello friends! With Valentines Day being just around the corner and all of our favorite stores getting in some fabulous things for spring, there is so much that I'm currently loving. I love a good heart print, and I have gotten several adorable heart print pieces for Madeline, like this heart dress pictured above. I actually just purchased these peep toe booties and they are absolutely amazing! I couldn't recommend them enough. Something else I'm currently loving is Barrington Gift's spring 2017 collection. You NEED to take a peek at the pink chambray print...absolutely obsessed! Also included in this "currently loving" post is my new favorite color lipstick, MAC "Angel". It is the most perfect, sweetest shade of pink. Something else that is on my "currently loving" list is architectural bangle bracelets. This one and this one are my favorites! And I have one word to finish up this discussion on my currently loving list...BOWS! I wish I had a reason to buy this bow chair. Is it not the sweetest thing?! I am also going to grab up this adorable bow-back OTS top for spring.

What are y'all currently loving right now?!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Happy Monday, Friends! First things first! Do y'all remember this oh-so versatile fringe wrap? I styled it here on the blog a few weeks back with a more casual look (see the post here). I said in that post that it is also a great piece to dress up with. Well here you go! I wore this look to church yesterday, and it was perfect for adding a little extra warmth for the chilly day (yes, it was in the 70s here last week, and is now in the 50s). It's only $49 and is a great piece to carry you into the spring as well, for those days when it's warm-ish in the afternoons and chilly in the evenings.

Also, I may be biased, but these pictures of Miss Madeline put a huge smile on my face. I know all you mamas out there can relate, but every stage gets more and more fun with these little babes of ours. Madeline is starting to put sentences together now and it is the cutest thing! Oh my goodness, the things she'll come out with these days! Her imagination, personality and spunk never fail to make me smile :)

I hope your week is off to a great start! What did y'all do over the weekend? Anything fun?

Happy Friday, Y'all! Today's post is all about pastels and these adorable kitty cat flats. I absolutely love wearing winter pastels this time of the year...blush and winter white, especially. This blush scarf is so soft and goes with so much! It's only $25. I am also loving this cowl neck sweater. And when I purchased these Charlotte Olympia Kitty Emoji Flats, I never thought I'd get as much wear out of them as I have. I've only had them for a little over a week and have worn them just about every other day! The color is perfection, and the little pops of blush and black add such a fun touch. If you're considering investing in a pair (because they are seriously a closet staple), they run true to size.

Also, today I just want to wish a happy birthday to my best friend, my biggest supporter, my photographer, my sweet Mama! Y'all may not have known that she takes all of my pictures for my blog and always does so with a willing heart. She never complains a bit and is always ready to help me. She encourages me day after day and reminds me to never quit my passion. She loves Madeline beyond belief. And most importantly, she always reminds me to keep trusting in the Lord. As y'all can probably tell, she's quite an amazing person, and the one behind the lens for all of my posts. So, happy birthday, Mama! I love you :)

Leopard Sweater (Currently 50% off and only $35!!) // Scarf // Rag & Bone Denim //

Hello, hello and happy Thursday! Today I'm taking my leopard obsession to a whole new level...not just pops of leopard by adding in leopard accessories but a leopard sweater! This piece is so so fun, y'all! Funny story: I actually ordered this sweater about a month ago. I remember tracking the package once I saw that it had shipped, but I guess it got lost because I ended up forgetting about it and received it just a few days ago. I instantly fell in love with it! We had planned to shoot some outfits the next day, and I immediately knew that I wanted to share this sweater with y'all ASAP because not only is it back in stock, but it's also on sale for just $35!!! I also wanted to touch on the sizing. When I ordered it at the end of December, there were only two sizes available at the time, a small and a large. I'm usually a x-small in this brand, but I loved this sweater so much that I decided to give the size small a go. I'm so glad that I did, because I love it even a little oversized. I say all of this because if you're trying to decide on a size, go with your normal size for a more snug fit or go up one for a little oversized look! You'll be happy with either :)

I hope y'all have a happy Thursday! Are you obsessed with leopard as much as I am?

Navy Lace Dress (Available in white & similar navy one here) C/O //

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today's post is featuring this gorgeous crochet dress. I have found that I tend to keep more navy dresses in my closet than any other color. I like to think of it as a LND (little navy dress). I am more than obsessed with the gorgeous sleeves of this one. It's only $59! I was sad to see that the navy appears to be sold out, however there is a good chance it could be re-stocked! It also comes in white...how perfect for a bride-to-be! I also want to mention that it does run large. I'm wearing a size small, but still had to have mine taken in to fit as a smaller size. If you love this dress in navy, then be sure to check out this one as well! It's sooo gorgeous! I wore it in white for Easter last year and am so excited to see that it has come back for this year.

I hope y'all are having a great week so far! The sun finally came out yesterday after lots of rain, so we were able to shoot some looks for this week. There will be more to come tomorrow and Friday. Also, it's birthday week for my family! Today is my brother's birthday, tomorrow is my grandfather's and Friday is my Mama's. Between January 2nd and February 4th, we have five birthdays in my family! Do any of y'all have a certain month where several of your family members/loved ones have birthdays right around the same time?

Ruffles, Ruffles & More Ruffles

Happy Tuesday :) Can you guess what my current favorite trend is? If you said ruffles, you're correct! There's nothing I love more than the feminine touch of a ruffle. For example, it's great to have a basic white t-shirt in your closet, but add some ruffle detail and your look will automatically have a fun flair to it. Ruffled sleeves, a ruffle hem, ruffles down the sleeves, ruffles on one sleeve, ruffles across the front...you name it! They are literally everywhere right now and are oh-so cute. I simply can't resist a good ruffle piece. These are some of my current favorites! They are all under $100, and many of them are perfect for the warmer days now and will carry over nicely into the spring time. Which is your favorite?

Happy Friday, Y'all! Today I'm styling a piece that is so so versatile...this ruffle hem sweatshirt! What's so great about it is that it's sweatshirt material, giving it a casual vibe, but the satin ruffle hem allows it to be dressed up if needed. I'm wearing it here with denim, leopard flats and my all time favorite scarf. But it also looks so cute with leggings and tennies if you're going straight from working out to running errands, etc. It is only $38 and is such a great piece to have in your closet. Being a mom, I find myself wearing athletic clothes a good portion of my day (and sometimes all day), so I always get a lot of wear out of a cute sweatshirt like this.

I hope y'all have an amazing weekend! :)
