Happy Halloween, Friends! Although this is the perfect outfit to wear on Halloween, I love it for all fall long. I'll be wearing this (or a similar combination) throughout the day today, before changing into my costume tonight. This cardigan is soooo cute! I love the oversized grandpa cardigan style. It comes in three colors, runs TTS and is under $80! I'm thinking about grabbing it up in the ivory as well. I love it paired with a cami, as I have it here, but it also looks so cute layered with a button-up shirt. And these flats! They're a bit pricey, but they're definitely one of my favorite pairs. I can't get over how adorable they are and love them even more knowing that I can match Madeline with her pair. I found them for a discounted price here (the best shopping experience, by the way).

I hope y'all have a Happy Halloween! What do y'all have planned?! Madeline and I are so excited. She has been talking about trick-or-treating for weeks! We're trick-or-treating with a group tonight then coming back home to eat chili, make Halloween cookies and watch Spookley the Square Pumpkin. P.S. Be sure to stop back by tomorrow to see our Halloween costumes! Or if you follow me on Instagram, you may see a sneak peek of them tonight :)

Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope y'all had a great weekend. We spend the last few days in Highlands, North Carolina, and had such a fun time! The leaves were so gorgeous. Driving down the mountain felt like being in an endless sea of reds, yellows and oranges. I definitely could have stayed a few more days :) I'll be sharing more about our trip this week, so stay tuned for that!

I originally had an outfit post planned for today, but since it is the day before Halloween, I thought it would be fun to share a few last minute (most are DIY) Halloween costume ideas with y'all. I used to always wait until last minute to plan my costume. Now that I have Madeline, I'm more ahead of the game. I started planning our costumes for this year in August, and I can't wait to share them with y'all!!! We actually won first place in a costume contest over the weekend. Anyways, here are a few costume ideas for everyone. I think these are so cute and clever, and they're very easy to put together last minute if you're in need of some inspiration. The sources for each photo/tutorial are linked below the pictures. These ideas are so cute + creative!

Happy Thursday, friends! Not going to lie, I had to think for a second on what day it is. This week has been flying by! The week started out with being super rainy, so it put a slight delay on shooting my content for this week. Nonetheless, this week has been crazy busy as well! School is running at an overwhelming pace, as always, and I spent the beginning of the week trying to get ready to go out of town. Getting things in place to go out of town seriously takes some effort haha. Anyways, with the combination of the weather and all of the craziness causing me to run myself into the ground pretty much, things looked a bit quiet here on Something Delightful. Well, I'm finally back today to share a look that I absolutely adore!

Here's a little but on today's look. I have never owned a sleeveless sweater dress, but let me just say that I'm obsessed!! When this dress arrived, I had so much fun styling it in a ton of ways. I love the sophisticated vibe this ruffle bow blouse adds when paired underneath it. I also layered it with a striped turtleneck and again with a button down shirt and loved the looks equally as much. And lastly, I love the way a moto jacket looks paired over it. Seriously, the styling options are endless. It can easily be dressed up or down. It's under $100 and definitely runs TTS. I absolutely love it and the spin it takes on the usual sweater dress. I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for more sleeveless sweater dresses in the future.

As I said above, we left town yesterday for a fun fall getaway. We arrived in Highlands, North Carolina, and I'm so very excited to be here again. To me, Halloween weekend it such a fun time to be here as it has become a little tradition of ours. This year will be the third year that Madeline, Jaycee and I have joined in on a Halloween costume contest. I cannot wait to share with y'all what we came up with for this year :) I'll also be sharing a lot more on our trip next week. Anyways, if y'all have ever visited Highlands and have some recommendation, please send them my way!

I hope y'all are having a great week. Thanks for stopping by :)

Happy Friday, Friends! As y'all know, I love matching and coordinating outfits with Madeline. These are actually my favorite posts to share on here. What I love more than anything is capturing her fun, little personality in these posts. She is so silly and full of pure joy. She has a sparkle in my eye that just warms my heart. I hope y'all enjoy these posts with Madeline as much as I love sharing them :)

Anyways, it's no secret that PINK is my very favorite color. However, I usually do not wear it as much during the fall months. I tend to go for all the fall hues, such as olive green, mustard yellow, burgundy and neutrals. But when I came across this gorgeous pink sweater dress, I simply could not pass it up! It's the prettiest shade of pink and is oh-so cozy. It's under $80 and runs true to size. I paired with brown accessories to give it more of a fall vibe. This brown ruffle scarf is also amazing! It's so extremely soft and isn't overwhelming bulky. It's almost a stretchy material, making it easy to wrap around your neck or drape it like I'm doing here. It's under $40! I also can't wait to stye this sweater dress with black or grey accessories for the winter months.

Now for a little on Madeline's outfit. I'm more than obsessed with the vibrant colors of her plaid flannel dress. It's so soft and perfect for her to wear all throughout the day. I do feel like this brand runs a bit small, so I always size her up to a 3t. I love it paired with this little tassel vest. And her booties pretty much speak for themselves, if you ask me :) They're the cutest things! She loves the pom poms on them as they're such a fun touch. They run true to size.

I'm so excited for the weekend! Do y'all have anything fun planned? Tonight we're going to see PJ Masks Live. My sister got Madeline liking that show a few months back, and when I saw that they were coming here, we got tickets! She's so excited and has been talking about it non-stop over the past few days. I hope y'all have a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by.

Ruffle Cardigan (Also in grey) // Peplum Cami // J Brand Jeans // Wool Hat // Coin Necklace // Pearl Necklace // Bow Mules (Under $70 and come in several colors) // David Yurman Bracelet

Happy Thursday, everyone! Today I'm styling one of my favorite cardigans that I've purchased so far. Ruffles, ruffles and more ruffles...need I say more? :) I am a sucker for ruffles. When I came across this darling cardi, I could not say no! The ruffles down one side give it such a unique, adorable look. There are also ruffles on the sleeves, which I love. This cardigan is under $80 and also comes in a gorgeous grey. I love the mauve color so much and adore the way it looks paired with grey and with brown. It also pairs perfectly over a dress, for a dressier look. It's definitely one of the cutest cardigans that I've ever owned :)

I hope y'all are having a great week! Mine has been crazy busy with school. I've had a lot due, but it seems like I've had so many technological issues over the past few days with trying to complete and turn in assignments. It has been nothing short of a headache! I love technology, but at the same time I hate it haha. Am I the only one? I'm just excited that tomorrow is Friday! I can'y wait to enjoy the weekend and do some fun things with Madeline. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends!
