Hello and happy Wednesday! I hope y'all are having a great week. Who else loves a denim jacket? I purchased this one from J.Crew back in the fall, and have thoroughly enjoyed it over the last few weeks as the weather has been changing. It's great for those cooler days and especially cooler nights! I feel like a denim jacket is just one of those pieces to have on hand in your closet. I also have been enjoying this dress so much! It's only $48 and comes in seven colors. It has such a cute razor back detail. I have been wanting to purchase it in another color! It's just one of those go-to dresses. Also, can we just talk about how gorgeous this turquoise + pearl tassel cross necklace is? It is so unique, and I just love it. It is also one of the many pieces I love designed by my friend Sh'Lika over at Elizah Faith Designs! I have worn quite a few of her pieces on here because they are so unique, classy and timeless! Last week, I styled this necklace (see the post here). And a few months back, I styles this necklace that I wear all the time! And here's some exciting news! Sh'Lika is offering a coupon code for all of my readers through the entire month of April! You can save 25% off orders of $50 or more by using the code "DELIGHTFUL25" at checkout :)

Thanks so much for reading!

Happy Monday, Y'all! I hope y'all had a special Easter celebrating our risen Savior. It was extra special over here. Madeline was the cutest as she had a deep love for the Easter eggs this year...they were her favorite things in her basket out of everything the Easter Bunny brought to her. This was her first second holiday. It seems so strange saying it was her second Easter as every holiday up until now has been her first. Last Easter, she was only four days old. The holidays especially are so much fun with children! They make everything in life extra special. Her excitement for everything just warms my heart. Also, it's officially her birthday week! I'm still in disbelief that she is almost one. Her birthday is Friday, and I'm having her party on Sunday so things have been a little crazy around here. We had her one year photos taken this past Thursday, and I can't wait to see how they turned out!

...

The minute I saw this dress, I knew that I had to have it! I love lace, and it being a lace overlay on top of this champagne color is simply gorgeous! I could also see it being the perfect Mother's Day dress, bridal party/luncheon dress, or wedding rehearsal dress. It also comes in navy. Anther detail that I adore is the bell sleeves.  I love bell sleeves, and these are the perfect elegant, dainty touch! It is such a flattering fit for all body types as well. Also, the minute I saw this little dress for Madeline, I fell in love with it! I also used it for some of her one year pictures. I almost cried the first time I put it on her...she looks like a little angel, I think :) Especially with those little shoes.

I hope y'all are having a great start to the new week!

Happy Thursday, Y'all!  It's time to make sure your Easter looks are ready to go.  Here are a few of my favorites for this year for both mother and daughter.  When I think of Easter dresses, pastels, lace and scallops all come to mind.  Can you guess which Easter dress is mine?  Madeline's is pictured too :)  I have had a crush on the Lilly Pulitzer Breakers Shift Dress for forever.  I'm also loving the pastel pink lace dress as well. And don't get me started on how sweet the dresses for little girl's are.

What are you planning to wear for Easter?

Hello Friends and happy Wednesday! Here's an outfit that I'm so excited to begin wearing next week (official white pants season begins woo hoo!). I picked up this button down from J.Crew the other week and automatically loved the idea of pairing it with white for a crisp, clean look.  I then found these flats in this white + blush combo and knew they would be perfect for completing this look!  I have the pink pair like these (you've probably seen them on me too many times to count), and I know this pair will be just as loved over the next few months.  Seriously, they are the best flats!  I am also so excited to be styling these gorgeous necklaces from Elizah Faith Designs.  I have shared my my dear friend Sh'Lika's collection on here before and am so excited to be incorporating a few of my favorite pieces into some spring inspiration. I mean how gorgeous is this coral sticks set?! I also love how Sh'Lika designs a shorter necklace to match most of her longer ones.

...

I love to start my week out with fresh flowers. I usually grab roses, but I had my heart set on tulips this week. About this time last year (right before I gave birth to Madeline), a dear friend and her sweet mom brought me the most gorgeous tulips. I enjoyed them so much for the days leading up to having her, and when I came back home from the hospital, they were still just as gorgeous! I was excited to pick up some this week as they are such a sweet reminder for me. Also, can y'all believe my baby will be ONE next week?! I cannot get over how quickly this year has gone by.

I hope y'all are having a great week so far! Thanks for reading :)

When My Heart Is Overwhelmed...

Happy Tuesday, Friends!  Do y'all ever find a certain verse that you cling to?  I have done this with several verses, and honestly, that just proves to me how powerful God's Word is!  It is just as real today as it was years and years ago.  I always remember that through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures, we can have hope (Romans 15:4)!  But today I want to share a certain verse that has meant so much to me!  Today I want to talk about Psalm 61:2 as it has given me hope.

"From the end of the earth I will cry unto Thee when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

This verse is just such a beautiful reminder to me of who is my help and my strength..."the rock that is higher than I."  So many times when I'm overwhelmed, I tend to let it get to me and affect my total being.  But I simply love this picture of when becoming overwhelmed, we must cry out to God.  Ask Him for help.  He will help you with everything you have on your plate, everything going on in your life, anything and everything!  He will be your strength.  I also love this reminder as it so plainly describes to us that God understands our every feeling from sadness, happiness, to even becoming overwhelmed.  God tells us that when weary, we are to come to Him and He will give us rest (Matthew 11:28). What a comfort that is!

Whatever it is that you have on your plate, whatever your feelings are, whatever you are dealing with, turn to the one that understands every ounce of it and trust in His timing. Find your comfort in Him.  If you're feeling overwhelmed, turn to the rock that is higher than you! Turn to His Word, turn to Him in prayer, trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. He has a plan that is more amazing than anything you could ever imagine.  If you can trust Him with that, I promise you can trust Him with whatever has you feeling overwhelmed :)

It has taken some time for me to grasp this, but I have learned to turn to the Lord with anything and everything!  It is all in the process of learning to fully trust Him with all of your heart.  And friends, I can promise you that you will also find your strength for anything in life as you can trust Him, the rock that is higher than you!

Lace-Up Sandals
Sweater C/O // Denim // Sandals // Bag (reversible!) // Necklace (only $16!) // Bracelet

Happy Monday, Y'all!  Who else is ecstatic that it's officially spring?  I absolutely love the springtime.  I said it last year and I'll say it again, having Madeline at the beginning of spring just sealed the deal on making it my favorite season of all!  I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how she is already almost one!  This mama's heart is sad about how fast time has flown by.  But the old saying is so true: "Time flies when you're having fun" :)

...

Although it is officially spring, yesterday and today have been two of the chilliest days we've had in weeks!  I thought the warmth was here to stay, but just like that, spring welcomes us with some cold. That's why I always like to have a few "springtime sweaters" in my closet.  I define a springtime sweater as being one that still looks the part of spring but provides some warmth.  There other qualification I have for a sweater to be a springtime sweater is that it can't be too heavy.  Well, this one I'm wearing here is perfect!  I love the shade of pink, and I'm obsessed with the ruffle details of the layer underneath.  It kind of takes me back to my ballet days.  Also, remember this reversible tote that I've carried around so much in the past?  It holds so much and is only $48!  There is also a new version of this tote that I'm dying over...it's a mini reversible tote that can also be worn as a crossbody.  Lastly, these lace-up sandals are my new favorites!  They're under $100 as well.

I hope y'all have a great start to this new week!

Spring Favorites

Happy Thursday, Y'all!  Spring is without a doubt my favorite time of the year to dress.  I feel as if my spring favorites multiply each day.  If you can't tell from the favorites I've shared above, I am currently loving anything and everything turquoise, lace-up shoes, tortoise sunnies, pink shoes to add the perfect pop of pink, and lace. Those sunnies have been on my wishlist for forever.  And can I just take a moment to say that I have been eyeing those cuffs for months!  I'm obsessed with the pearl and turquoise, although they come in a variety of colors. I just love dressing for spring and all of the fun details that come along with it. Trust me, there's no way my spring favorites could fit in one post.  As I said, I find new pieces I love each day!

What's your favorite thing you've seen for spring?

Spring Outfit
J.Crew Statement Necklace
Blush
Top // Denim // Necklace (extra 30% off sale price!) // Flats // Bag // Bracelet (Fitbit Bracelet)

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Y'all know that I'm a fan of all things blush. I saw this colorblock top last week at Nordstrom and knew that I had to have it! It is just the easiest top to style, and it is so flattering.  I love how it is blush and olive colorblocked in the front and white and olive colorblocked in the back. I also love the way it looks paired with white denim, and it will also look super cute paired with shorts later on.  It is also available in a navy and yellow combo that I may just have to get as well. Something else I am a huge fan of and have worn too many times to count are these flats. I purchased them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year hoping they would be a great neutral, and they most definitely have been. They are also now available in a white + blush combination that I'm loving! And lastly, this necklace! I absolutely how perfectly it matches this top. It is currently an extra 30% off the sale price.

Well that's it for my outfit ramblings! I hope y'all are having a great day!
