After being stuck inside studying and taking my last economics test of the semester, I was ready for some sunshine and fresh air as a little way to celebrate.  It's that time of the semester when you can see the end is very near.  Economics is not my friend, so being able to say that I had taken my last test brought me much joy! :)  Summer is oh so close!

Scallops

Internal Narrative - Coffee Shop Visits

Do you have a favorite local coffee shop that you enjoy visiting?  I certainly do.  Each Wednesday, I look forward to a weekly visit with Jaclyn to The Purple Cow here in Augusta.  It's a quaint little place that serves coffee, froyo, muffins and other great drinks.  In between classes, we like to grab lunch then hang out at The Purple Cow (we are extra happy when we get our regular table) to blog, study before afternoon classes, whatever.  

Jaclyn and I decided to write up a another internal narrative (you may have read the Internal Narrative - Salon Day from a few weeks back).  These are a few of the thoughts we were agreeing on while enjoying our Wednesday visit.  When you become a regular to your favorite coffee shop, these thoughts occur more and more.  Enjoy!

1. "Yes…Our table is open!"
2. Or…"No! Someone took our table…"
3. "What drink do I want today? I hope I can remember which one I tried last time!"
4. "What are the people at the table over there talking about?"
5. "Ooh, I can totally relate! Maybe I'll go chat with them...but I don't want to eavesdrop."
6. "I have two hours to catch up on something! What on my to-do list should I choose?"
7. "Their drinks at that table over there look yummy! I wonder what they got."
8. "Is my outfit cute enough to take a picture with my coffee?"
9. "If not my outfit, how about my bracelets?"
10. "The Barista is a really good friend…she knows exactly what I like to drink, so I can trust her with anything!"

Easter Lilly

Happy Easter, everyone!  I decided to wear the Lilly Pulitzer Pearl dress in the "She's a Fox print" as my Easter outfit.  I'm so excited that I did, because I absolutely love pink and the vintage look of the lace design.  It is by far one of my favorite Lilly dresses.  I paired it with hot pink kitten heels and pearls, of course.  

Today was such a gorgeous day.  Ever since Tuesday, the temps dropped and it rained non stop.  I went to church this morning with my family, and half way through the service, the sun popped out for the first time in days.  It was such a happy reminder as we worshipped our Savior and remembered what He did for us on the cross.  It's such a comfort to know that we worship a risen Savior.

Flagler Avenue Shopping

When visiting New Smyrna, a trip to Flagler Avenue is a must.  It's a quaint street that basically begins with a drawbridge, leads to lots of fun little beach shops & restaurants and ends at the beach.  It's an experience and a tradition that I look forward to each time I visit.

I love how green everything is right now.  Even though spring break is over, I was driving to class this morning just enjoying the drive and how gorgeous the trees look with their fresh green leaves.  I love lime and pink together, so this dress is perfect in my opinion.  And how cute is the Stinger print!  I adore how the bees are outlined in shimmery gold.
