Snow Day

I am enjoying a few days in New York City.  It is truly magical here during Christmas time!  What could make this time even more magical?  A snowy day during Christmas time in NYC.  This Georgia girl hasn't seen snow in three years.  I told my Mama if it would only snow while we are in New York, I'd be thrilled.  Well, it did!  Yesterday, it snows from the time we woke up in the morning until about 10:00 at night.  It was a gorgeous winter wonderland, especially in Central Park.

Dressing for the snow is not something I'm used to doing.  I have always wanted to take my Hunter Wellies out for a snow day, and I finally got to!  To my surprise for not going out in the snow often, I actually wore all the right apparel and accessories for a day of shopping in the snow.

It was a fabulous day of snow and shopping on Fifth and Madison.  Here are a few on the accessories (along with some others that I adore) that I loved having for the snow.

Stay Tuned!

  1. 3 years is a LONG time not to see snow! I'm glad you got to spend some time in it - New York seems like the perfect place to experience it!

    1. They do make them more comfortable as they keep your feet warm, but as for actual comfort, I'd say no :( They make the boots tighter which is annoying feeling in my opinion. But they do add warmth! :)
