A Lilly Life - Lilly Pumpkins

My number one weekend task was to create Lilly Pulitzer pumpkins.  The shop I work for, The White Crane, is hosting a Lilly Pulitzer pumpkin contest starting this Tuesday.  Customers who want to participate are to create a Lilly pumpkin and bring it into the shop.  At the end of the month, my boss is going to pick her favorite Lilly pumpkin and the winner will be able to pick any item they'd like to have out of our Lilly room.  It is going to be such a fun event!  In order to host this event, we had to do some Lilly pumpkin crafting ourselves.  I agreed to be the "pumpkin artist" if you will and create our Lilly pumpkins to showcase in the store window.  I was definitely going to design a pumpkin for the shop (the pink and green polkadot White Crane pumpkin) along with two Lilly ones.  I chose First Impression and Fancy Fest for our Lilly pumpkin prints.  The final products are pleasing, and I think they will make the perfect October window display!

To keep up with the pumpkin contest, follow The White Crane on Facebook and Instagram.  We will be posting photos of each Lilly Pumpkin that enters our contest for everyone to ooh and aah over.

Stay Tuned!

  4. Oh my gosh, those pumpkins are brilliant. First Impression is my favorite print, but they must have taken forever to paint - Wonderful job!
