Sweet Memories

This is a post I have been wanting to share for some time now.  As I stated in my last post, summer seems to come to a close mid August.  Although it doesn't officially end for a few more weeks, I feel that after Labor Day, it is an official goodbye.  Life is back into full swing, and we can see fall, along with all of the upcoming holidays, just ahead.  The weather starts to cool off and all we can think of is pumpkin spiced lattes and sweater weather.  But I feel like I can't officially say goodbye to summer without a recap of all the sweet memories I have made.  At the end of every summer, I feel like I could write a book…each summer is different and unique, but always holds a great amount of fun.  Just a heads up, this post will contain many photos, so be prepared.

When I think back on this summer, I think of time spent with all of my favorite people, the new places I experienced, new things I tried, and most of all, the memories that will never ever fade.

I had my fair share of time spent at the beach.  First stop was New Smyrna Beach.  It is my home away from home.  I have so many memories made here year after year. From time spent with Jaycee...

To sitting in the sand with a drink in hand with Mama…
To collecting many shells and sharing them with my Ammama.  They make me think of her as each one is beautiful and unique just like she is.
I enjoyed my time spent at the beach with William…soaking up the sun, bike rides, enjoying great food, he is one of the few people in my life that no matter what we do, just being with him is enough to have fun.
I tried new things, like Parasailing with Dandaddy…this is something I had always wanted to do, and Dandaddy made this happen.  This is something I will never forget for as long as I live, and I look forward to our next parasailing adventure together.
I am so thankful for my job at The White Crane and the fabulous ladies that I work with.  I started off being a small part of this business last fall and quickly expanded my job here over the summer.  Oh what fun this has been! Becky, Julie and Camilla always know how to make me laugh, give advice for anything I need and are a joy to work with.
Summer is the season on spontaneity…No plans, so you find something fun to do and you suddenly have plans!  I enjoyed being spontaneous and planning day trips to quaint places like Charleston with William.
I enjoyed visiting new places with my very best friend!  Mama and I always find a location to visit and this summer consisted of a week in St. Thomas.  The memories made here, and everywhere we go will last a lifetime.
I enjoyed sushi dates, froyo dates, visiting the old ADPi house and much more with sweet friends...
Summer 2013 has been simply wonderful!  I am truly blessed in so many ways.  As the new season begins and summer comes to a close, I can look back on the memories and be happy but know that there are many more to make in the future.
