Halloween Fun!

It's finally here!  Happy Halloween!  I have been so excited and waiting for so long for this day to come.

First off, have you seen Lilly Pulitzer's "Fancy Fest"?  This adorable pattern if great for Halloween and after Halloween.  It's just too cute!

Here's an outfit that definitely accomplishes the theme of Halloween.

I will definitely be wearing orange and black throughout the afternoon.  Jaycee will be wearing her black turtle neck with her Halloween tutu.  Tomorrow night, we will dress up!  But it's a surprise for now.  There will be many pictures to come :)

Happy Halloween to all!  What are your Halloween plans?

{Guest Post} A Pop Of Style - Riding Boots

Hi everyone! My name is Jenn, from the blog A Pop of Style. I am so delighted that Rachel has given me a chance to guest post on her blog, where I find new ideas and tons of style tips each day! I hope you enjoy my post, and stop on over to A Pop of Style if you like what you see here. :)

With the exception of my car, my first "big purchase" was my Vince Camuto riding boots during my junior year of college. It was one of those love-at-first-sight-while-shopping moments: I saw them on display, and after cringing over the price tag (I was still on a babysitting budget) I left the department store without them, but couldn't stop thinking about how badly I wanted the pair of boots. Two days later, I bought them and haven't regretted the investment for a second.

When it comes to equestrian-style boots, going for quality is most important, so invest in a good pair. My Vince Camutos were $198, and they have held up really well considering how often I wear them. My favorite part is that they are black and brown, so I can wear them with either color, and mix in fall style colors as well. My favorite way to wear them right now is with a black dress and a brown leather bow belt I recently snagged from Anthropologie! If you have riding boots, how do you like to style yours?

Pumpkin Designs!

The pumpkins are finished, and I have to say that I'm very pleased with the designs. Harita and I had a fun night monogramming, glittering, and adding bows to our pumpkins.  Here are the results!

My monogrammed pumpkin!  It wears a strand of pearls.

What do you think?  How did you design your pumpkin this year?

"It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" - At Sephora!

Yesterday, I went to Sephora to buy more mascara and came out with a few extra goodies!  It's that time of year again!  All of the fabulous Holiday sets are out and I want them all!

The best part about these sets is that you're getting six glosses for the price of one, or 6 shadows for the price of two.  They make great gifts and stocking stuffers.  I always love purchasing them because they smell wonderful and will last me a long time.  I purchased the Lorac gloss set and am SO excited over the colors.  The mini brush set is perfect for your purse.

Do you enjoy Sephora's Christmas sets?

Favorites Friday!

Hello all and welcome back for Favorites Friday!  I apologize for not posting for two days.  I had a biology test that consumed my time.  I'm so excited it's Friday!  This weekend is suppose to get cooler, so I'm excited for some sweater weather :)

  1. First up on my favorites list for today is Topshop's Leigh jeans!  I picked up a pair of these while shopping in Atlanta last week and they are the most comfortable pair for such a reasonable price.  They are like jeggings, but don't feel like denim at all.  I highly recommend them.  They will be great for oversized sweaters.
  2. Second on the list is J.Crew's factory bubble necklaces!  I have this necklace in black and am so pleased with it.  It is the same J.Crew quality for a fraction of the price of the original J.Crew bubble.  The only difference is that the factory version is not 14 karat gold plated.  So if you want a J.Crew bubble, this is the way to go.
  3. I don't know what I'd do without my Gold and Black TB Revas!  I have had this pair for five years now and still enjoy them just as much as the day I got them.  They definitely deserve a spot on my favorites list.

Here are a few of my favorites in a complete look!

Have a very happy Friday!

Ted Baker - Irresistible Cosmetic Bags

While shopping in Bloomingdales the other day, the most adorable cosmetic bags caught my eye.  Ted Baker London is simply irresistible!  With the darling bow, it's difficult to say no to these beauties.

These are now on my Christmas list.  I also plan on giving a few of these as gifts.  How adorable would that be?  It would definitely add some sparkle to the holiday season.

Do you own a Ted Baker cosmetic bag?

Pumpkin Patch Fun

A visit to the local pumpkin patch is a must on my to-do list for each Fall.  Due to my busy class schedule this semester, I was just now able to get by there with William and Jaycee.  This was Jaycee's first trip to the patch and I must say, she was adorable!

It was so much fun :)  Next step is to actually paint them!  I have quite a few designs in mind.

Also, it is one month until my 20th birthday!  Let the countdown begin.

Dogeared - A New Obsession

After reading about Dogeared Jewelry on one of my very favorite blogs, It's Official, I have been admiring them every since!  Today, I purchased my first set and let me just say, I'm obsessed!  Seeing them in person really makes them irresistible.

I chose the Good Luck Elephant necklace and earrings in gold.  I have an obsession for elephants, and I love the little message that goes along with them.  Just darling!

I would eventually like to purchase a few more and layer the necklaces together for a complete look.

Hear Me Roar

These are a few of my favorite, but hostly it's difficult not to love them all!  Most of these are available in silver as well.

Do you love Dogeared?

Oversized Sweaters - Fall Must Haves

Yesterday's shopping adventures have me so excited!  I found so many cute oversized sweaters and an adorable pair of loafers.  I can't wait for the weather to get a bit cooler so that I can enjoy all of these darling things.

I feel so relaxed when wearing leggings.  Throwing an oversized sweater over it with a cute pair of boots, flats, or now for me, a pair of loafers, you can look adorable and comfy at the same time.

The Perfect Skirt!

Today, I am sharing one of my favorite fall purchases that I like to refer to as the perfect skirt!  I was intentionally searching for some pieces to match my purple TB Revas and came across this darling "Oh Woven Is Me" skirt on Modcloth.  After receiving it and being absolutely thrilled with the fit and over all look, I realized just how much I can do with this one skirt.

I am so excited to wear my skirt with all of these color and style schemes.
