Preppy Baking!

I absolutely love to bake!!! Whether it's cooking, pound cake, brownies, or especially red velvet cake, I am always in the mood to cook something scrumptiously sweet. I have recently tested my cake decorating skills on my Red Velvet cakes. All I can say is that they haven't been bad but they haven't been good! At least they taste yummy :) I have seen so many pictures that inspire me to try decorating my cakes Lilly style! I have attempted one and will keep practicing. Here are a few cakes they just blow me away with their cuteness!

This is a Lilly Shift Dress cake for a Lilly fanatic!

All I can say is AMAZING!

This is a Ralph Lauren Polo cake that a local baker, Mrs. Sharon Hutko, created here in her bakery, Delightful Bites Cakes & Catering

I'm obsessed with this preppy puppy cake :)

LOVE the monogram!

Here are my cakes that I've tested my decorating skills on!

This is my boyfriend's golf birthday cake I made him

This is my Parent's Lilly anniversary cake I attempted in one of my very favorite patterns, Peel and Eat! (The colors were a little off)

Here is a pearl red velvet cake I made for an ΑΔΠ banquet

I plan to keep practicing my cake decorating skills! Hopefully they'll keep improving :) Do you enjoy decorating cakes?

Stay Tuned!

  3. I love all the photos of the cakes. Being a Southerner, red velvet has always been my fave and Mama always made one for me on my birthday. When I moved away from Augusta, I ordered them from Very Vera. Now, I get my red velvets at The Fresh Market...their's are fabulous! Your golf cake...I'm obsessed with the cuteness!
