Happy Friday! Today I'm talking about this adorable ruffle hem top (another one, surprise surprise haha) and two accessories that I wear all. the. time. First off, I love how the ruffles on this top are asymmetric. They wrap all the way around the back and to the front in the most perfect angle. It's such a flattering piece, and the color is gorgeous! It says "lilac" on the site, but it is definitely more of a baby blue in person. It fits true to size and is a steal for only $43! I also adore the way it looks paired with pops of pink. This leads me to the next thing on todays agenda...

I think pink accessories are a must have! I purchased these shoes and knew I'd enjoy them. However, I didn't realized just how much wear I'd get out of them! There are so many pieces that look adorable paired with a pop of pink. That's why these pink earrings are perfect for tying it all together.. I also just got this gorgeous necklace that is the exact same color of the shoes, so it is also a perfect accessory for tying all the pops of pink together.

I hope y'all set to have a great weekend! It's a super busy one over here. We will be celebrating another one of Madeline's sweet friends this weekend. One of her friends had a birthday last weekend, another this weekend and Madeline is next weekend. It's a fun time of celebrations :) Speaking of, I've got so much crafting to do in preparation of her birthday party next weekend! My days of crafting just for the fun of it are over haha, but I have quite the crafting list to tackle for her party.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Thursday! I am so excited to be sharing this post with y'all today! Last year, I fell in love with the bag brand, Jon Hart Design (see the post here). The steamer bag has come along with me on every vacation that I've gone on since the bag came into my life haha. Well today, I'm here to share some other amazing pieces in the GORGEOUS new canvas color, lilac! Isn't is just stunning?!

So before I get into some info on the pieces, I want to share my thoughts on the brand with y'all. If you're looking for a new luggage set for yourself, you've come to the right place! If you're hunting for the perfect gift, no matter who you are shopping for, I assure that there a Jon Hart piece for them. From duffles, weekenders, toiletry bags, garment bags, tote bags to even rolling suitcases, the options are endless! With Mother's Day coming up and Father's Day soon to follow, I assure that a Jon Hart piece would make the perfect gift...hint: Mommy and Me cosmetic cases as pictured above :) Need a trusty graduation gift that the graduate will actually use? Jon Hart will be certain to follow them on all their upcoming adventures.

What I absolutely love about these pieces, other than them being incredibly gorgeous and well-structured, is that they are basically non-descructable. Being so durable, these pieces will keep on being that trusty bag you always go to. Like I said above, I have taken Jon Hart with me on every getaway since the bags entered my life. The natural leather trim just becomes a little darker over time, yet maintains its beauty. This also makes Jon Hart perfect for all of the guys in your life (are they not the most difficult to buy for?!). I simply can't say enough positive things about Jon Hart Design.

Now, scroll down to see what pieces Madeline and I are currently loving! I'm also going to share a little bit about how we pack for our getaways with these pieces.

How We Pack

Here, I am using the Weekender Bag in lilac canvas with natural leather trim and a hot stamp monogram to top it off. It is SO roomy and guaranteed to handle all of your adventures :) I am also using the makeup case to match the weekender. Meanwhile, Madeline is more than thrilled over her mini makeup case, so the she can be just like Mama. How darling is this?! I absolutely love to match with Madeline, but I think she has come to love it even more. Everything that I have, she will immediately want something for her just like it. She will point to mine and say "Mama's" and point to hers and say "Baby's." I am also obsessing over her little back pack, also in lilac canvas.

It all depends on where we are going and for how long, but I love that Madeline's little back pack can hold just her favorite kitty cat, toys to keep her occupied during the car ride, and even an outfit or two. P.S. the back packs come in three sizes! But what's even more amazing is that my weekender (and the same with the Steamer Bag I have) is that there is enough room for both me and Madeline! Seriously, these bags are so spacious!

I also use my makeup case every single day to store my makeup favorites in. It is perfect for travels as it can hold your makeup, or other toiletries, such as shampoos conditioners and more! The best part is that through the month of March, Jon Hart is giving away a free make up case organizer with the purchase of a makeup case!!! And of course, Madeline's mini makeup case is perfect for her travel size toiletries and her "makeup" as well. She adores her wooden makeup set because you know, she has to be just like Mama.

If y'all have any questions about these amazing pieces from Jon Hart Design, be sure to send them my way as I will be more than happy to answer them. As I said above, I could not possibly say enough good things about these pieces. They have assisted me with all of our travels, and I assure they will do the same for you :)

P.S. A HUGE thank you to the spectacular Carriage House Inn in Aiken, SC for allowing us to shoot this post on their gorgeous grounds.

Clare V. Alice Tote - The Perfect Summer Bag

Happy Tuesday! Who else is excited that spring is officially here?! :) Here's a look that I wore in Charleston a few weeks ago. I don't know about y'all, but there's nothing quite as refreshing as navy & white stripes. They make for such a simplistic statement.  Add in a little pop of color, and you've got pure perfection. This top says all of that, to me. How about the large gold buttons on the sleeves?! It is just absolutely adorable and looks amazing if you love wearing gold accessories. I can't say enough about how darling this piece is, and it is priced well under $100. Also, my Jack Rogers Capri Sandals saved my feet when we were doing so much walking during our trip. Some argue that they're not the most comfortable shoes, but once broken in, I say they definitely are a comfortable sandal option. Especially since Jack Rogers has started making shoes with rubber soles, they have become more wearable. They're always a great pair to have on hand for all of your spring/summer adventures.

I hope y'all are having a great week so far! Do y'all have any fun plans for spring? I have a few things planned and several that I can't wait to do with Madeline. Hopefully the nice weather is here to stay :)

Thanks for stopping by, Y'all!

Happy Saturday, Y'all! I was doing a little bit of browsing through some new spring arrivals and came across a few pieces that I just have to share! Okay, two words: scalloped swimsuit! How gorgeous is this one?! It comes in two colors. I think a scalloped suit is my current favorite swimsuit trend. Next I'm going to mention this half-moon straw clutch. It is such an effortless little spring/summer piece that is priced below $40! So so cute. Next up comes these sunnies that are an under $50 find...I'm obsessed with them y'all! And how darling are these ruffled seersucker shorts?! I am also about to hit "place order" on this OTS gingham top that's under $100. Such an easy breezy piece. And lastly, these PEARL sandals...yes, they have pearls on them. They remind me of a designer pair, and the pearls completely won me over. They're very reasonably priced at $89. Mine came in just the other day, and I'm in love with them.

Which piece are you loving the most? Thankfully spring weather seems to be returning this next week and I couldn't be happier! Not to mention, Monday marks the official first day of spring. Who else is excited?

Hope y'all are having a fabulous weekend!

Our Trip To Charleston

Rainbow Row Charleston, SC

Hello, Y'all! Happy Friday :) We've made it to the weekend! As promised, today I'm sharing a little bit about the recent trip to Charleston that I took with my Mama and Madeline. Goodness I absolutely could not get enough of this place! The gorgeous pastels, quaint scenery, delicious food and so much more just drew me in and had me never wanting to leave. It had been a while since my previous trip to Charleston, so this one kind of refreshed my memory on why I love it so much, and needless to say, I'm ready to go back anytime :) But first off, I'll share some iPhone pictures that I snapped and some Instagram shots from our trip. And for those interested, all outfit details will be listed underneath the photo.

Okay now on to all of the details:

Where We Stayed

During this trip to Charleston, we stayed at The Mills House. I couldn't begin to say enough good things about this place! First off...the architecture!!! The gorgeous pink stucco (I mean seriously, I'd choose the pink hotel any day!), with the white trim, the black doors, and the gorgeous patio! It is seriously the ultimate southern charm. I just could't get enough! The lobby was also breathtaking. White marble, orange accents, crystal chandeliers, a gorgeous staircase in the front...so elegant. I know this isn't that big of a deal, but the lobby also smells amazing! When you walk in, it hits you and you're like "what on earth is this amazing smell?" We asked and they said that the Yankee Candle scent "Crisp Morning Air" is actually piped into the lobby so that it always smelt amazing.

The room was perfect as well. It was light and airy with light blue and white...perfectly Charleston. We booked a Junior Suite, so it was nice and spacious. It allowed for plenty of room for Madeline to run around and play. There was also a great view of the quaint streets, and even one of my two favorite restaurants, Poogan's Porch! Since it's suppose to be haunted, we were able to look across the street at night and watch for ghosts (haha, just kidding) :) But I couldn't say enough positive things about our experience at The Mills House! I'm ready to go back anytime! P.S. This post is in no way sponsored, and as always, I give my 100% honest opinion.

Where We Ate

We ate at a several AMAZING restaurants during our visit to Charleston. Seriously, I didn't have a bad meal the entire time there. I didn't eat healthy at all haha, but I was on vacation so I didn't pay too much attention to that. Totally acceptable, right? :)

The first night we ate at Poogan's Porch. This quaint little restaurant is in an old victorian home and is so fun to visit. It is named after a pup, Poogan. It is said that the "porch was his" and he served as "the official greeter" of the house. Another fun fact is that the restaurant also is suppose to be haunted! I also love "What they believe in" (read about it here on their site). I absolutely loved the atmosphere. I had the best fried chicken that I've ever had. It was sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens. They also bring out the best biscuits ever!!! Madeline loved them. We love Poogan's Porch so much and we actually went back there a second time for lunch during our visit.

We also at lunch at Jestine's Kitchen! It was also delicious and the perfect spot for lunch. I loved the atmosphere, and Madeline loved the fact that we were right across the street from the fire trucks (read more about this below).

My absolute favorite restaurant of all is Blossom! Here I had the best friend shrimp and the absolute best collards I've ever had! It was funny because we were asking the waiter what made them so delicious and he told us that there was accidentally an extra amount of sugar added to them that night haha. I also got the roasted beet salad which was delicious! I have to also mention the dessert I got here, the strawberry rhubarb oatmeal crisp...absolutely amazing!!!

The other restaurant that we ate at for dinner was Slightly North of Broad. My Mama and I both agree that the shrimp and grits are without a doubt the best we've ever had! I'm not usually a shrimp and grits fan, but these I loved. We also got the local strawberry salad which was amazing and so refreshing.

Like I said, we didn't have a "bad" meal the entire time in Charleston. The food is absolutely amazing. One word of advice if you're going to visit, be sure to make reservations for wherever you plan to eat, especially on the weekends. We were there through Friday, and the crowd definitely picked up then. And for all you parents, it also seemed like everywhere had such a great kid's menu as well. My toddler is a very picky eater, but I will say that she definitely enjoyed the food as well. Each of these restaurants I mentioned had great options for kids.

What We Did

What did we do in Charleston? We walked, and walked and walked. But it was so much fun! Our Fitbits were definitely pleased with us the days we were here haha. But walking is absolutely so fun here and my favorite thing to do because everywhere is so gorgeous! It's especially fun to walk down Rainbow Row and the Battery, but what I love even more is exploring the quaint side streets and seeing the gorgeous architecture Charleston has to offer. The weather couldn't have been more perfect for our trip (sunny and temps in the mid 70s) so it was perfect for walking. Madeline also enjoyed the sights, especially the horses. P.S. If you plan to do a lot of walking, be sure to wear comfortable shoes  (or bring an extra pair to change into if your feet start to get sore) because the streets aren't the easiest to walk on. I brought along my Miller Sandals in the stroller to change into, if needed.

King's Street is also a must. The shopping is great, all while enjoying the amazing scenery. There's a J.Crew, Lilly Pulitzer signature shop, Anthro, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, several adorable children's boutiques, a HUGE Forever 21 and so much more. It's so much fun to shop here. There's also an amazing art shop that we checked out. And it's also a much to grab some pralines from River Street Sweets...absolutely amazing!

We also walked through the market some, but I couldn't handle that with a stroller. It was soooo crowded and hot in there that I didn't want to spend too much time there. I was honestly happy that we stayed away from the crowd there because it just wasn't worth it to me and maneuvering a stroller through there.

The last thing I want to mention which has nothing to do with Charleston but was Madeline's favorite was the fire house. We walked past here a few times and ended up paying it three visits within a 24 hour period haha. Madeline absolutely loved fire trucks! She was thrilled to see one that close. It's funny because we were there within three different shifts, so each time, a different fireman saw us and let her come in to visit the fire truck and "drive" it. She was absolutely thrilled! They even gave her a "fire badge" for herself :) So, a huge thank you to the kind firemen who made Madeline's trip by letting her explore the fire trucks.

Well that's about it for our trip! We had such an amazing time! There's nothing I love more than going on fun little trips with my two best friends...Mama and Madeline. Such special memories made with those two as I absolutely love our little adventures.

I hope y'all enjoyed this and found this helpful it you're looking to visit Charleston. I'd also love to hear some of y'alls recommendations! Be sure to leave them in the comments below or shoot me an email :)

Have a great weekend!

Delightfully Yours,
