Happy Wednesday, Y'all!  Here I go again with my pop of pink.  This is my favorite way to style a clean white + denim look.  Speaking of clean white, this fringe sweater (only $68!) is one of my favorite sweaters I've ever owned.  It looks so cute on!  I'm excited to wear it into the transition season between winter and spring.  It'll offer some warmth but still look crisp and white when spring is on the way.  This pair of denim is also a favorite of mine.  The inseam is 28 inches long (I'm 5'2), and they are the absolutely perfect fit...so comfortable too!

Yay, we've made it to Wednesday, and we are that much closer to the weekend! Do y'all have anything fun planned for the weekend?

A New Meaning Of Change

Happy Tuesday, Friends! I was just talking yesterday about the past two years to Jaclyn, and we both agreed on one thing; so much has changed.  I am a mama and she is getting married this year.  It is crazy to think about how much change change can bring about.  When reflecting on it at first (before it has actually come into your life...the beginning stages), we would tend to describe it with words such as scary, intimidating, or feeling fearful of it.  Or maybe we would describe change as exciting, waiting for a new adventure to occur.  Nonetheless, I think we can all agree that with change comes uncertainty.  This is something that has taken me a long time to learn from. 

What Have I Learned?
What I have learned from change is resting in the fact that it is from God.  Overall, it is a reason to trust in Him.  It is a time to feel His presence in a whole new way.  I can honestly say that with the change God brought into my life, I have seen His blessings unfold in ways I never imagined and my walk with Him has grown in ways I never knew it could.  I believe God wants us look on a period of change as something new from Him.  The verse I have listed below was a huge lesson on change for me.  There are two new outlooks I took from it.  One, we are told to not dwell on the past.  I don't know about y'all, but this is so much easier said than done for me.  I'm not just talking about things that have happened that are difficult to forget.  I also feel this on times that I wish I could relive, for instance the first time I laid eyes on Madeline.  I think on that and what a blessing it has been experiencing her grow every step of the way, but then again, I think on what a joy she is now, this very moment, and I see how this is another reason to not dwell on the past.  If I do that, then I'll miss out on joy that comes with her right now.  And secondly, I read the sentence, "See, I am doing a new thing!" What caught my eye with this sentence is the punctuation.  I re-read that sentence with excitement! I then began to reflect on the new things God has done in my life!  With that, I felt a peace and assurance that no matter what kind of change comes about, God is working a new thing!


What new thing is God doing in your life?  How are you accepting it?  Are you fearful of it, not wanting to move forward, or are you going to say, "Lord, I trust in you with this new thing you are doing in my life."?  Remember this, God has chosen YOU to go through with this change, and He wants you to run the race He has marked out for you, fixing your eyes on Him (Hebrews 12:1-2)

Happy Monday, Y'all!  Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite go-to looks.  If I simply don't know what to wear, I try to think of my classics.  This usually means navy (navy or nothing, right?).  I just got this white top, and it is definitely a favorite with the gold buttons and gold accents on the pockets.  The white, navy, gold and pearl combination is a classic in my book.  This is a dressier look that was perfect for church, but it could also be made into an easy casual look by trading out the navy skirt for a pair of denim and gold (or maybe a pop of color) flats.  These are the outfits I enjoy being creative with :)

Happy Friday, Y'all!  Every once in a while, I find it necessary to share my current favorite shoe picks.  I am a shoe junkie.  I not only love my basic color shoes (the browns, blacks, nudes, etc.), but I also love having fun printed and patterned shoes to spice things up a little.  For instance, I love the gingham check pair (#11) above and would pair them with denim, a white top or sweater, and a bright colored accessories (red, pink, or yellow necklace probably).  I am completely obsessed with pair #2 on the list!  Check out those fun multi-colored studs on them.  They come in the prettiest color pink as well.  And how about those tassel wedges (#10) for the summer?!  They would definitely be a go-to pair.  Also, if you can't tell from my list, I'm most definitely a flats girl.  I'd say 90% of the shoes in my closet are flats haha.

Hey Friends!  Y'all know that I love styling my outfits with a pop of color whenever I can.  I'm loving this top, not only because it's a perfect color yellow, but also because of the cute crochet details.  This skirt has also been a go-to for me.  It is so easy to style!  J.Crew Factory always has the cutest skirts that offer numerous styling options.  It has been feeling like spring the past few days, but it's suppose to get down to freezing this weekend?  The weather has been weird the past few months.  At first, I was pretty annoyed with being so uncomfortable in winter clothes, but now I'm beginning to feel ready for spring.

Happy Monday, Y'all!  It's officially less than two weeks until Valentine's Day.  I'm so excited to be sharing this fun Valentines post featuring these matching Jack Rogers for both mama and baby.  I mean, HOW CUTE are these?!  This was my first time actually seeing the baby Jack Rogers in person, and they are the most adorable things ever.  I will definitely be purchasing another pair for Madeline this spring.  I think this matching Jacks set would be the perfect surprise for both mama and baby on Valentine's Day.

Also, I just wanted to say how much I love these pictures of Madeline.  They capture her little personality perfectly.  She's the happiest, most curious baby ever, and she has just stolen my heart forever.  Madeline is my Valentine, and she forever will be.  That became official last year when I was pregnant with her.  As she was growing, my love for her was growing so much more.  I never knew I could love someone this much.  It's a love like no other...a love that God created between a mother and child.  Also, Madeline became my Valentine when I had my Valentine's Day theme baby shower given to me last year.  It was such a special time.  I have been reminiscing so much on this time a year ago, and it's bittersweet. Time has gone by so fast.  Can y'all believe she's ten months old today?!  I wish I could freeze time.

Happy Friday, Y'all!  Today I am sharing some of my favorite Valentine's Day related items.  I love hearts, so having an excuse to wear a heart printed something makes me really happy.  I have been dressing Madeline in hearts for the past few weeks as well.  I just can't get enough!  So many of these items I have listed above would make the perfect Valentine's Day present.  Check out the matching Jack Rogers for mama and baby...I'm completely obsessed!  I have always loved Valentine's Day for the reason of red, pink, and hearts.
