Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today I'm so excited to share the details on a dress that I have been enjoying way too much ever since it became a member of my closet. This Blue and white stripe OTS dress is simply perfection! Y'all may laugh at one of the main reasons I'm loving it haha. But first, I just have to elaborate on how adorable it is. The tiered ruffles give off such a feminine silhouette that I simply adore! I can't seem to get enough of blue and white recently. It's such a refreshing color combination that seems to be the perfect match for the hot weather. It's simplistic yet such a statement! And of course, I love the ruffles. Need I say more? I'm a ruffle junkie and these ruffles are absolute perfection. Are y'all ready to hear one of the main reasons I'm loving this dress? Well it is an OTS piece that actually stays off the shoulders. I become so annoyed when I'm constantly having to adjust my OTS pieces to keep them off my shoulders. And handling such pieces is no match for a mama trying to chase a toddler around haha. Anyways, this dress stays in place...no adjusting it in any way! I wore it to a celebratory dinner last week it was the perfect piece to dress up for the occasion. Lastly, It's only $46.

I hope y'all are having a great week! It has been raining cats and dogs here (third day in a row). I'm definitely ready for the sun to shine again! I have had a million errands to run over the past few days. Running them in the rain, with a two-year-old is not the easiest thing to do! But Madeline's love for wearing her rain boots, carrying around her umbrella and finding a good puddle to jump in always reminds me to never forget to find the enjoyable aspects of life, even on the rainy days. It's crazy what little (and big) life lessons our children can teach us! :)

Happy Monday! I hope y'all had a fantastic weekend. It definitely flew by too quickly, as usual. Today's post is featuring yet another extremely versatile top with the absolute cutest details! Yes, this t-shirt is a must have for summer. The eyelet, ruffle sleeves of this piece make it irresistible. It looks darling paired with denim and with various pairs of shorts from a denim pair to a printed pair. Trust me when I say that it's soooo versatile and also incredibly comfortable. It is one of those tops that you'll find yourself throwing on all the time for an simplistic, effortless look. It you're a Mama, I recommend it even more as it is such a go-to piece that requires very little thought when styling it. Lastly, I have to mention that it's only $45!! Such a steal, if you ask me :)

I hope y'all have a great start to the new week. My countdown to the beach is on! We are officially less than two weeks away, and I can hardly contain my excitement. I absolutely can't wait to see Madeline experience it this year. Every time she sees a picture of the beach, she begs to go! Happy Saturday, Friends! To me, nothing screams summer like the perfect straw bag. If y'all haven't already noticed, they are becoming quite the trend :) Above are TWENTY-FOUR amazing choices. All I have to say is, I'll take one of each, please! But seriously, I never knew a straw bag could have so much character. 

If you're off to the beach, have plans to be lounging around the pool, or just need a refreshing accessory to help with the heat of summer, you need a straw bag in your life! I think I actually have a problem because I have begun to collect too many haha. I own six (oops) of the ones pictured above (1, 3, 5, 6, 10 and 12). My larger ones, like number 6 for example, are perfect for a day at the pool or the beach. #1 is probably my go-to straw bag because it's perfect for everyday running around. Not to mention it is absolutely adorable!!! It looks like it was just restocked, and trust me, it won't remain in stock for long!

I also want to point out a few others that are too cute to pass up. Who knew there was such a thing as straw gingham?! I certainly didn't until I laid eyes on this DARLING clutch! How adorable is #4 with the little cherries?! And don't get me started on the shell details on #22.

I know I'm crazy haha, but I'm actually trying to decide on one more to add to my collection. The choices are 11, 17 or 22. Which do y'all love best?! I'm also obsessing over this one. It's adorable, under $50 AND it has a zipper!!!

Please tell me I'm not the only one with a straw bag addiction 🙈

Happy Thursday, Y'all! First thing on the list, I'm sorry for my lack of posting this week! It has been quite a crazy week with birthdays and other random to-dos that have popped up left and right it seems. Do y'all ever have weeks like that where things end up being a whole lot busier than you had planned? Let's just say that I'm ready for a day of nothing to do. 

Now for a little on today's look! My go-to looks are those that help me easily maneuver trough the day and motherhood :) They're simplistic and well, easy! By that, I usually mean my indigo or white denim (or shorts in the summer) with a top that can be styled with little to no effort. If I had to choose my all time favorite (and easy) pair of shoes for summer, I would without a doubt say my Tory Burch Miller Sandals. These things are SO comfortable! They're perfect for around the town, traveling, going out to dinner, everything! I was just talking about how much I want a white pair as well. This look is my ideal look for running around town, out to dinner (because it could be dressed up a little more), and so much more! 

Also, I am blown away by the sweet present that my Mama and Madeline gave me for Mother's Day! Have y'all seen the Yurman Whispers collection? When you look at this bracelet a certain way, you can see that it says "I Love You." SO so sweet and makes me think of my two special girls every time I look at it. It's hands down my favorite Yurman Bracelet :)

Happy Tuesday! I hope y'all had a great weekend :) Madeline and I matched in Lilly Pulitzer for the first time on Mother's Day of last year. My sweet Mama also wore a Lilly dress. This year, we decided to continue on the tradition with matching and coordinating in Lilly. It was so much fun sporting our bright colors. We have always been Lilly girls and are training Madeline to follow in our steps haha. Madeline and my Mama are my two best friends. I love them so much that my heart could burst! We have tons of fun together and enjoy making memories on all of our little adventures. We call ourselves "The three M's" (Mimi, Mama and Madeline). I'm so excited that I was able to convince Mama to make an appearance on here. She is behind the camera with 99% of my blog photos and never complains once. She is also my biggest supporter as she always encourages me to follow me dreams. Isn't she just the cutest?! I always say that I'm going to convince her to make appearances on my blog more often. I am so thankful for my Mama, and I'm so thankful that I get to be Madeline's Mama.

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Hello, hello and happy Thursday! We are just a few days away from Mother's Day! If you're in need of some last minute gift inspiration for the moms in your life, today's post is for you. Or if you're just browsing for yourself and something on this gift guide catches your eye, that's totally fine too :)

These gifts are ones that any mom will love! I thought it would be fun to include a variety of gifts for all moms. I'll list what I'm loving about each below:


My sister gave me an "M" initial necklace for Christmas. There's just something so sweet about wearing your child's initial around your neck. It has meant so much to me. I absolutely love this lower case initial necklace, but if you're looking for a not so pricey option, check out this one!


In my opinion, nothing says "I love you" like David Yurman :) This heart bracelet is such a sweet option that will surely make mom smile and know how loved she is. This bracelet can be layered with other bracelets. I love the dainty, delicate look of the piece.


I purchased this dress and styled it on my blog a few weeks ago. I have worn it countless times, and it has become one of my all time favorite dresses! It's SO flattering and under $100. With this dress being a wrap dress, it's a great piece for breastfeeding mamas. 


If I had to choose my most worn pair of shoes, my Miller Sandals would hands down be my choice! I end up throwing these on just about every day. They're SO comfy! They look so cute with just about everything (shorts, denim, dresses, etc.) and are most definitely my shoe of choice for an easy look. They're also my go-to if I know I'll be chasing my toddler around. All mamas should have a pair of these!


If mom has a beach trip planned or will be spending time by the pool this summer, a fun straw tote and/or straw hat would make for the perfect gift! I'm biased to tassels and absolutely adore the pieces from this brand! This bag comes in three color options :) SO, so cute.


Have I mentioned that I love tassels haha? They're such a fun trend right now and will give mom an exciting little twist to her wardrobe. I absolutely adore the ombre details of this pair. They also come in blue.


Two words: Mom Mug. They're adorable. They're fun. And you know mom will use them, because every mom needs her "mom fuel" to start her day :) I have quite the growing collection of mom mugs, and they're my very favorite mugs. This one will for sure put a smile on mom's face.


This DARLING pillow doesn't really need any introduction. I love the oh-so true message it conveys about the amazing journey of motherhood. 


Confession: I wear my robe more than any other article of clothing in my closet. It's comfy, cozy and an easy throw on. If I'm laying around the house, cleaning, getting ready, whatever, my robe is my number one choice. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only mom who feels this way about her robe haha :) A gorgeous robe is a great gift you can't go wrong with!


If mom is in need of a fresh new color for summer, an eye and cheek palette is a great gift! I can't get over the gorgeous colors of this palette.


Ever since I became a mama, I've kind of become a picture frame hoarder haha. When I saw the launch of these Kendra Scott photo frames, I immediately fell in love and have had one on my wish list ever since! They are absolutely gorgeous!! Frames make the perfect gift, because moms always a photo of their little one(s) that's ready to be framed. 


These candles smell AMAZING! I love them even more in the pretty containers, especially the gold and rose gold.
