Happy Tuesday Friends! I don't think I've ever been so excited to share a look with y'all as I am to share this one today. Today's looks is definitely an outfit of BOWS! If you've been following me for awhile, you know that I have a deep love for bows. I've always had a bow incorporated into my blog design, and if you've been following me for a really long time, you may know that the second post I ever posted to my blog was about hair bows haha. I've owned quite a few bow pieces, but I think this one tops them all.

I mean, have you ever seen such a darling sweater?! Three perfectly placed bows down the back of this sweater make it absolutely irresistible, if you ask me. When I saw it online, I immediately knew that I had to have it. When I pulled it out of the package, it was ever more amazing than I anticipated it would be. It reminds me of a much more expensive version that I've seen from Club Monaco. This one is amazingly priced at under $80. It comes in SIX colors, including navy, white, the most gorgeous light blue and more. I chose this color because I think it's perfect for now and when it comes time to transition into spring (it will be here before we know it!). Last year, spring weather hit here in Georgia late February, so I'm already preparing :) Anyways, if you love a good bow, this sweater is for you! It's going fast, so don't miss it! I promise it's one you'll love. I'm also obsessing over this one and am thinking about purchasing it in pink that has seersucker bows down the back.

Speaking of bows, these mules are also perfection. I knew they would compliment this look perfectly. I purchased these cuties months back, but I think this is my favorite pairing with them yet. They're also super reasonably priced at under $70 and come in a handful of colors. Mules are also a great way to transition into spring. If you're like me, then there comes a time (usually first of March) when I'm absolutely over boots. Mules will certainly be my go-to!

I hope y'all have an amazing Tuesday! Are you bow obsessed like I am? :)

Delightfully Yours,

Sweater (50% off with code COZY) // Jeans // Mules // Bag (also in this color) // Pendant Necklace // Bangles // Earrings

Hey Friends! TGIF! I've mentioned on here before that I love sharing some "dressier" looks. Ones that I wear to church and such, but I also love to share what I put on for a normal day of mom life, working on my blog and school, running errands, etc. My go-to look for the winter is without a doubt jeans, a sweater and a pair of mules. Looks like this honestly don't require that much thought, and that's sometimes exactly what I need for a busy routine.

I love this sweater so much, mainly because of the cutouts around the shoulder area. It resembles a cold shoulder look without actually being a cold shoulder since the cutouts don't expose the entire shoulder. I also love the soft shade of pink of this sweater. I chose the pink for a few reasons. First off, I mentioned the other day that I try to stick to lighter and brighter colors for the winter time as it helps me to avoid the winter blues when dressing each day. Another reason that I'm choosing lighter colors for right now is that they will be great for transitioning into spring with in just over a month. This sweater is particularly perfect for that. It looks great with white denim and will be the perfect look come March, early April. The best news about this sweater is that it's currently 50% off with the code "COZY", making it only $24!

Something else I want mention about my look are these mules. I absolutely love them! I purchased them back in the fall to be the perfect neutral, throw-on-and-go shoe. They have been just that! I have worn these things out! I love mules in general because they're easy to slip on. However, they make a look appear so much more put together, if you ask me. The light brown shade of these is simply amazing. They really do go with so much. This particular shoe comes in multiple colors and runs TTS. I highly recommend these!

I mentioned earlier that my sweater is on major sale. Well, when I purchased this sweater last week, I purchased a few other pieces as well since the sale was so amazing. As I said, the sale is back again for this weekend, so I figured that I'd share a few of the other pieces that I purchased and others that I am loving. All of these pieces below are 50% off with the code "COZY".

PEARLS? Yes, please! I couldn't be more obsessed with this top. I purchased it to wear now with denim and with white jeans to transition into spring with. It's gorgeous! This top is on sale for $29!

You can do SO much with navy and white stripes. I purchased this top to be one of those versatile pieces that you wear all too often haha. I love it for now with a cozy scarf or under a vest and for later with white jeans and pink sandals :) The sleeves on this piece are amazing. It's on sale for only $22!

I purchased this skirt because I love the vibrant colors in the tweed...hot pink, light pink, turquoise, yellow and more. It's gorgeous! I tucked my favorite ruffle sweater into in and loved the way it looks! It also looks amazing with black knee-high boots. It's on sale for $34.

I did not purchase this top because my local store didn't have it, but I absolutely love it! I love the way that the stripes are positioned and feel it would be another versatile piece for now and spring. It's on sale for $24.

I feel this would be an amazing Valentines Day dress! The puff sleeves add the cutest touch, and of course the shift dress style makes it my favorite cut for a dress. I love this piece so much and have it in my shopping bag. It's on sale for $39!

This darling sweater is also perfect for V-Day. I love all the hearts and the reds and pinks. This sweater represents all of that perfectly. It would be so cute paired with white jeans and mules! It's on sale for $29!

Y'all know how much I love chenille. The cut of this cardigan looks amazing! The shade of pink also looks gorgeous. This item is also currently in my shopping bag. It's on sale for $29!

I love love love these and feel they would again be perfect for transitioning into spring with. I may order them and try them, because I'm obsessed with this shade of pink. I also love that these have distressed knees as I don't think I've ever seen a pair like this. They're on sale for $39.

Did you score anything good from the LOFT sale?!

Have a great weekend, friends!

Hello friends and happy Thursday! Today I'm so excited to be sharing one of my all-time favorite mommy and me looks. Dressing for the winter isn't always fun, but coordinating my looks with Madeline's makes quite a difference.

A few things about what we're wearing: I found this darling swing sweater for Madeline at a children's boutique but was so happy to see that Amazon has it as well. If you have a little girl in your life, get her this sweater! I promise you won't be disappointed. It's the cutest thing and is so warm. It comes in sizes for both babies and toddlers plus a bunch of colors. I just ordered the pink for her as well since I love it so much. The sweater I'm wearing here is great to pair with leggings since it's long. I have it on with black jeans here, but love the way it looks with leggings as well.

Madeline loves her Hunter Boots more than any other shoe in her closet. It has been this way ever since she started loving Peppa Pig a little over a year ago because if you know anything about Peppa, you know that "If you jump in muddy puddles, you must wear your boots!" :) It was a bit bittersweet last year when you outgrew all of her Hunters. The good thing is that I was able to sell them and buy her some pairs for this year! I got her a red pair and a green pair back in the fall. One thing Madeline likes to do is wear them with her dress up costumes. Santa brought her Elsa and Anna costumes for Christmas, and when she put on her Anna costume with her green boots she looked at me with a confused face and said "Mama, Anna wears black boots" haha. I had received a black pair as a Christmas gift, so naturally I had to get a matching black pair for Madeline. One thing about buying her Hunter boots this time of the year is that they will fit her for spring as well. She's in between two sizes right now, so I went up to the next size with this pair (and a pink pair I just ordered for her). With it being so cold, she wears plush socks with hers now and they will fit perfectly with lighter socks by the spring time. Just a little tip on making them last longer for all you mamas!

Since Madeline loves wearing her Hunters, that means I get to wear mine more often as well. If she wears hers, she automatically expects me to wear mine. I used to think that it was silly to wear Hunter boots if it isn't raining. But boy has this changed with having Madeline, and I don't mind it one bit! I love wearing them on cold winter days with warm socks. What I love more is matching in them with her.

I can't believe how much I just rambled about Hunter boots haha, but when you're a mama and it involves your child, there's lots to go on and on about! In other news, Madeline started potty training last weekend, and I am so so proud of her! I can't believe how easy it was. I'm not going to lie, I was a little scared at first. Last Friday was the first day she wore panties for the entire day. Here we are almost a week later with only two accidents to report haha. She has done SO well and has made this whole potty training adventure seem so easy. There are definitely a few things that helped her prepare to potty train along the way and a couple of other things that tremendously helped her once she started potty training. It seems a little bittersweet that I won't be buying those darling Honest diapers any longer, but overall I'm just so proud of my growing girl. If you mamas would be interested on a lengthier post with what has worked for us and helped us potty train, let me know and I will put one together. This post is already getting too lengthy :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, sweet friends! Have an amazing Thursday!

Recent Purchases + avoiding the winter blues

Hey Friends! Happy Wednesday to y'all. Today I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite recent purchases. Several of these were gifts that I received for Christmas, and after trying them out for a few weeks, I absolutely love them. I'll start with a few pieces of clothing that I've purchased (that are all under $100) and then share several other miscellaneous items. At the end of this post, I'll be touching on how I dress for winter while avoiding the winter blues.

Clothing

Let's start with the clothing! How darling is this bow-back sweater?! I fell in love with it the second I saw it, and it's even cuter in person! It seriously looks like something from Club Monaco but for a fraction of the price. I'll be styling it here on Something Delightful very soon :) I also purchased this button-up cardi but in a gorgeous light pink color. This Striped top has the cutest sleeve details. It's definitely a piece that can be worn now with a vest or a chunky scarf and also into the spring with white denim. This pullover is the softest, coziest thing ever. I gave one to my Mama as well, and she loves hers as much as I love mine. The good news is that this popular piece was just restocked! This grey ruffle hem tee is a great layering piece for now to layer under cardigans (I love it layered with #2 on this list) and to wear by itself in the spring. This vest is as cozy as cozy gets! It's not too heavy, but the warmth factor is amazing. I love it styled just as pictured, with a white top for a simplistic look. The fun sleeves on this sweatshirt are amazing! I love this piece layered with a scarf or front-tucked into my favorite joggers for s cozy look. It's so cute! This striped tee is a great basic. I actually purchased it in white. The cool thing about it is that it's reversible. The v-neck can be switched from front to back! And lastly, this ruffle top is the most gorgeous shade of violet. It's so perfect for now and will also be gorgeous with white denim in the spring. The great thing about all of these pieces is that they're all under $100, many of the being under $50

Accessories & More

Okay now on to the accessories and a few other random purchases. Let's start with the shoes! Y'all actually voted on these boots via my Instagram stories. I'm so glad that everyone seemed to like this pair as much as I do. I had been wanting a good, versatile grey pair and this is definitely it! They're also on sale. With many of my 2018 goals revolving around fitness and health, I figure that a new pair of sneaks were a good idea. I absolutely love the neutral appearance of these. They're SO comfortable and have a great "bounce" to them. The last pair of shoes that falls under my recent purchases are these affordable and oh-so precious mules. Pink, ruffles and pearls are just a few of my favorites, so when I saw them all combined on one shoe, I couldn't pass them up! They're under $70 and come in several colors.

Next up on the list are two home decor items...a coffee table book and a print for my gallery wall. I have been wanting to increase my collection of coffee table books for some time now and have decided to slowly start doing that. This one was at the top of my list! This illustration for my gallery wall that I'm recreating is so gorgeous and perfect for anyone who loves fashion. I can't wait to share my entire wall with y'all once it's completed. It's so "me" :)

Last but not least are three cosmetic purchases. Number four is a makeup must-have! I have loved and used so many IT cosmetic products. I actually heard about this one from a fellow blogger, Taylor Morgan of Little Blonde Book. She does an amazing job with her makeup and shares a lot on her Instagram. So shoutout to Taylor for the recommendation. But I love this stuff so much. It seriously adds the most gorgeous and smooth finishing touch to your complexion. I also recently purchased this eyeshadow palette. I love the warm neutrals as they are great for blue eyes. I use anywhere from three to six of these shadows for the current looks I've been loving. The last cosmetic item is this brush set. I have never wanted to spend a ton on brushes and came across this amazing brush set from Ulta. It comes with six brushes for the price of two brushes by this same brane. The quality is amazing!

Avoiding the Winter Blues

That's about it for my recent purchase ramblings, so now I have to share a way that I avoid the winter blues when getting dressed each day. There are so many cute things coming out for spring right now, but I'm entirely too cold (and pale haha) to put on anything related to spring. But I think we all could agree that this is the most difficult time of the year to dress. It's cold outside. Everything seems cold, to be honest. All I really want to do is put on my sweats and curl up under a cozy throw. But that's not reality and one must keep on going, right?! This time of the year, I'm so over dark colors. I'm sick of my reds since we just had Christmas. And the last thing I want to put on are darker shades. Well, I say do the opposite! Dress in winter pastels. With Valentine's Day being just around the corner it's a great time to start pulling out all of your pinks. This is also the time of year when I begin to pull out my white denim to wear with my favorite sweaters. To avoid feeling the winter blues, I prefer to wear winter pieces that are lighter shades. For me, pink, grey and all the neutrals (beige, off-white, etc.) are my current favorites that will have me thinking of warmer (spring) vibes. My current favorite color combination for an outfit is pink, white and grey. Here's a look that I have paired in my closet and is ready to be worn: This cardi in pink layered over this tee in grey with this scarf. I may be dressed for the cold, but the colors I'm wearing are reminding me of spring. Another great thing about buying lighter colors now is that they will be great to transition with once March arrives.

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! How do you avoid the winter blues when dressing for this time of the year?! I'd love to hear.

Hello friends! Today's blog post is all about the absolutely cutest dress. I call it the "winter everything dress" because it can be worn for so many occasions! It's the perfect dress for work, church, date nights, meetings, luncheons and so much more! You could ever pair it with a pair of ankle booties or knee high boots for a more casual touch. I love having dresses in my closet that can be worn for so many purposes. In fact, if I can't wear a dressier dress for many reasons like I have mentioned, I usually won't buy it. But this dress is one I know I'll get a ton of use out of. You could even turn it into the perfect Valentines Day dress by pairing it with pink pumps, pink statement earrings and a pink lipstick.

But what I love most about this piece is the way it resembles a glen plaid print. I love having a selection of pieces in my closet that are a classic with some fun touch added in. The adorable pleats and balloon sleeve details are just that...the perfect twist to this ever-so-classic pattern.

Of course I have to mention that this classic "everything" dress falls in the under $100 category at $80! Such a great buy, especially for a dress you could get so much wear out of. This brand does run a bit small. I'm normally a 0-2 in clothing, but I order a US 4 in this brand. I promise it's a dress y'all will get so much wear out of!

I hope y'all have a great Tuesday! I feel like so many places are getting snow today. Madeline has been asking God to send some snow each night when we say our bedtime prayers, because she wants to build Olaf :) A snow day would be so much fun. I certainly hope we get some soon, before my spring fever gets any worse haha! After February, I'll be ready for warm weather to arrive. Are y'all already starting to feel over the winter months?!

Thanks for stopping by!
Delightfully Yours,
