Happy Thursday! I hope y'all have had a great week so far. We're almost to the weekend! :) Today I checked off the last full week of my wellness class for school. After next Tuesday, I will be done! It has been so nice getting back into a workout routine, though. I hope to keep it up as it makes such a difference in the way I feel. I have never spent time in the gym like I have been doing for this class, and I can definitely tell that I have been working muscles I don't usually work. Anyways, it has definitely been good for me, and I hope to keep some sort of routine going.

Today's look is featuring another dress that I purchased in the #nsale and yep, it's another great piece to wear now and transition into the fall with. The deep navy color palette makes it work with adjusting to darker shades, while the pink floral print keeps things fresh and light for the warmer weather. It unfortunately is already sold out, and there is only one size currently left in the other style dress that this print comes in. But it is still in stock in the top that this print comes in!! I'm slowly seeing sizes being re-stocked here and there. As always, I'm sure to let y'all know when my favorites are re-stocked throughout the sale via Instagram stories :)

Madeline and I are off to a play date for the afternoon with our sweet friends. I love watching Madeline play with her friends...it's just the cutest thing to see their imaginations come to life as they play and communicate with each other. And I'm looking forward to spending some time with her friends' mom, Jessica, while she plays. Have a happy Thursday, Y'all!

Happy Tuesday! Here's another transitional look that I'm loving. OTS, long sleeve pieces are a great way to transition your looks for cooler weather. This top was one of my in-store #NSale purchases. It was one of those that I didn't care for so much online but in person I absolutely loved! The portrait inspired collar (I think back to having my composite picture taken for ADPi haha) gives off the most flattering, delicate look that I just love. The sleeves are also unique and fun. Plus, I love a good stripe! So the fact that it's a button up top with a darling OTS detail and fun sleeves makes it a total win in my book. Oh and I haven't even mentioned that it's on sale for under $40 and also comes in white.

Hey everyone and happy Monday! I hope the weekend treated y'all well :) We just laid low and stuck to our usual routine. That means staying by the pool to keep cool! Madeline absolutely loves the pool and could stay in all day if I let her. With it being so hot to where you can hardly stand it, the pool is the only activity we'll do outside haha. I'm pretty sure Madeline is fine with that :)

Today's look is featuring a few pieces I've been so excited to share with y'all! For starters, THIS SKIRT! When I saw it in the store, my scallop-loving-self was immediately drawn to it. I knew it was a piece I could wear now and later! Let me share a little bit on how you could do this. I wore it to church yesterday paired with this top! This cold shoulder top is such a great basic! It looks so perfect paired with denim for a simple statement or tucked into a skirt like this. Oh and I must mention that it is currently on sale for $29 and comes in four colors as part of the Anniversary Sale! I'm thinking about grabbing it up in the blue as well. Now back to the skirt. I was playing around with it, and it looked soooo cute paired with a few cooler weather pieces for the fall. I tucked this sweater in beige into it and paired the set with these OTK boots for the cutest fall look!! I will definitely be repeating that look on here again come fall. So that's why this skirt is such a great wear now and later piece.

I also have to mention another favorite purchase since it is my first time wearing it on here: this watch!!! It was the first thing that caught my eye in the NSale lookbook this year, and I knew right away that I wanted it. I have been on the lookout for a wrap watch, and this one being TB is perfection. Another cool feature I love about it is the way that the logo ticks around in a circle, taking the place of the second hand! This watch is just about $100 off the regular price and also comes in navy and black. If you're more into a metal watch, this one is also included in the sale.

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shoe Purchases + Restocked Items + My Favorite Purchases

Happy Friday and happy official first day on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Just in case y'all haven't heard this already hehe, today until August 6th you can officially shop the sale without needing a Nordstrom card to shop it! Finally :) 

I was torn between a few ideas I had in mind for today's post, so I took to Instagram stories (per usual) to ask y'all what you would like to see. I got a huge response for both a review of the shoe purchases I've made during this sale as well as a post covering my favorite items that have been re-stocked just in time for the sale to officially open to everyone. At the very end of the post, I'm also going to be sharing my top fifteen favorite purchases that I have made in the sale so far. 

I must say that I usually purchase 90% of my shoes for fall during this sale. I always say that the shoes in the Anniversary Sale (especially the booties) are my favorites of the season! Last year, I found myself regretting not purchasing a few pairs of shoes. I actually went back weeks after the sale ended and purchased them for full price. This year I remembered that and decided to grab up the ones I want for fall. So, let's start with my shoe purchases, shall we? :) 



Regular price: $224.95 // Sale price: $149.90
Besides being absolutely perfect, these boots won me over as I know they will be the ideal go-to shoe for fall. The chestnut color just screams fall! There was a similar boot available in the Anniversary sale last year that I wanted but never purchased. I loved them so much that I actually ended up purchasing them a few weeks later for full price. I wore those things out! When I saw these similar ones this year, I grabbed them up immediately. I went with my regular size and feel that they run TTS. I also love the round heel and the fact there is a distressed look around the toe area. 



Regular Price: $119.95 // Sale Price: $79.90
Two words: velvet pumps!! These shoes were ones that I actually did not plan to buy...until I saw them in person. I had wanted to purchase this pair, but they just didn't look right on my feet. These however are SO gorgeous! They are right in between a light pink and nude. Words can't describe how beautiful these are. I purchased my regular size and feel they run TTS. They come in a handful of colors.

Words simply can't do these booties justice. They are absolutely amazing! What I love about these is that they are dressy enough to wear with a dress or keeping it casual with denim. The cutout on the outer side makes them irresistible. They also run TTS and come in several colors. If you're looking for a fun pair that's a little different from the usual, these are them!



Regular price: $95 // Sale price: $70.90
I have never owned a pair of black sneakers until now. Why, I have no idea! But I decided that I needed a more versatile pair after beginning my fitness course. When I saw these in the sale, I grabbed them up. They're so comfortable with the stretchy material. They run TTS. I wore them to class the day after they arrived, and I officially love them! 



Regular Price: $239.95 // Sale price: $159.90
I immediately fell in love with the details of these OTK boots. Anddd when they arrived in my order, I fell in love with them even more. The taupe color will go with some much. Even though I'm only 5'2 I'm still able to comfortably pull these beauties off. They come in a few colors. My Mama actually purchased them in the color "greystone" and I love them as well. They run TTS, and I ordered my regular size. The cutout details on these make them simply stunning!



Regular price: $195 // Sale price: $129.90
These sandals (or open toe booties, as I like to call them) are the perfect wear-now and wear-later shoe. They are great to transition into fall with! I love this color as it is perfect for the transitional period and all the way into the fall. They are simply gorgeous! They also run TTS and come in two other colors. 



Regular price: $159.95 // Sale price: $99.90
Here is yet another pair of open toe booties. These are so unique from the rest, and I just love them! The block heel is so thick, making them extra comfortable. The ankle strap is the cutest feature! They look amazing with jeans and even more amazing with a dress. I absolutely love these! They also run TTS. 



Regular price: $149.95 // Sale price: $99.90
These split shaft booties are my favorite pair of booties purchased during this sale. They're amazing!!! The split shaft and perforated details make them so unique. I also love the color. I'll be enjoying these all fall for sure. I also went with my regular size in these as they run TTS. They come in two other colors as well.  If you need one pair of booties from the Anniversary Sale, I'd say go with these :)

And lastly, I just have to share the darling little shoes Madeline has gotten in the Anniversary Sale:


These booties are the cutest things ever! I love the suede with the fringe details. I originally wanted these for her in gold until I saw the navy blue in person. They're so adorable! They do run large, however. I bought them in the size she is wearing now to wear in a few months for fall. These scallop flats are darling, if you ask me. They look so cute paired with her jeans or leggings or with a dress to wear to church! They run a little on the smaller side to me. I went ahead and bought the next size up for her, just so that they will last. These faux fur sneakers are the cutest things ever!!! I can't get over how precious these are. And Madeline loves them :) They look so cute with her jeans. They also run TTS. I also am dying to get her these boots, but they have yet to restock them in her size. Fingers crossed it will happen!

Okay now to share some of my favorite items that have been re-stocked. I have my fingers crossed that they will re-stock more of my favorite purchases as they have yet to do so. I believe that they continue re-stocking as the sale goes on. Some pieces are popping up in a few sizes here and there while some (like one of my favorite dresses) have been fully re-stocked in just about every size. This jacket was a purchase that I didn't think I'd end up loving, but once it arrived, it quickly became one of my very favorites (possibly my most favorite purchase). It's different from anything I've ever owned, but it's absolutely amazing! I have had SO much fun playing with it over the past week and styling outfits for fall. It looks great over a sweater or a tank with jeans or over a dress. It's incredible! I went with a small in this jacket just to give it enough room for layering.
*UPDATE* This jacket was just re-stocked in all sizes! Grab it up fast before it's gone again :)


The name of this sweater is just that...it's so easy and fun! It's comfy, cozy and one one of those pieces that makes you say "fall, hurry up!" I'm so hopping that they re-stock this piece because it's easily one of my very very favorites. I went with an x-small in this piece as it runs TTS.


Ruffles...need I say more? But seriously, this pretty top made it to my favorites list simply because of how unique it is! It's structured yet SO fun. The asymmetrical ruffles add the cutest detail and the hint of bell sleeves is even more adorable. I love how it could be sophisticated for work or styled to be more flirty and fun with jeans. This also runs TTS.


This darling cardigan again falls on my favorites list because of how unique it is! The cardigan style makes it so easy to throw on and style, yet the dramatic ruffle sleeves make it SO fun! This piece runs a tad bit large, and since this brand runs small, simply go with your regular size. For example, I usually size up to a US 4 in this brand, but went with a US 2 in this cardi. 


I can't describe just how much I love this simplistic piece. It has been re-stocked as well! It's such a great way to transition into fall as it gives that sweater vibe all while being sleeveless. It's SO cute on and pairs perfectly with the suede moto jacket I mentioned above or with a cardigan.


This stunning piece was the first thing that caught my eye when I previewed the lookbook before the sale began. I knew right then and there that I had to have it! It was the first item I added to my bag with my first NSale purchase. I fell even more in love with it when it arrived. I have always wanted a wrap watch, and this one being Tory Burch made it a must-have for me. It's soooo gorgeous and versatile!


As I mentioned in my shoe review above, these boots are definitely a favorite purchase. They're so versatile and perfect for fall. I know I'll be wearing them with everything. Again, they run TTS.


As mentioned above, these pumps won me over the second I laid eyes on them in the store. They are the sweetest neutral shade of blush/pink and being velvet, I simply could not resist them. 


Also mentioned above, these booties are possibly my very favorite shoe purchase from the sale. They're so unique and fun with the cutouts and split shaft. They're versatile and can be dressed up and down. I absolutely love them!


If you follow me on Instagram and watched my Insta stories from two days ago, you saw that I'm loving this lip kit! I had so much fun with these during the NSale last year and was so excited to see them back again. MAC lip products are my very favorite. They feel so smooth on your lips and smell amazing! I love a good nude lip, and this kit is perfect for creating just that! It's amazing. I love it so much that I just purchased the pink kit as well. 


This bag also falls on my favorite purchases list because...well, just look at it! I've already styled it a few times on the blog this week. The Anniversary Sale is an amazing opportunity to get some Tory Burch at a discounted price. I decided to go with the gray this year as it's something different from what I've had in the past. I was a little worried about it clashing with my jewelry since I wear so much gold, but that ended up not being an issue at all :)


Three words: Little Black Dress. This dress is the perfect LBD. The style is so so cute! From church to work to a fancy dinner out, it's perfection! I love the drop waist hem that ruffles around the back. It's seriously the cutest (especially with leopard pumps). BUT it does run very large! I had to size down to a XXS petite for it to fit me (I'm 5'2 and usually a size 0-2 for reference). 


This dress was also one that I was hesitant about at first but fell in love with once it arrived! The material is almost a swiss dot material, which I just love!! The elastic waist band allows you to scrunch it up if you're on the petite side like I am or you can stretch it out if you need more length. I always go up one size in this brand and went with a small in this dress.


Zella is my absolute favorite brand for athletic wear. The fit is always amazing, and the quality is impeccable. The cutouts down the sides of these leggings make them oh so cute and add some excitement to the usual black legging. I also love that these are high waisted and hold everything in :) They run TTS, and I purchased an XS, for reference. 


Last but not least...these jeans! AG is one of my all time favorite denim brands, and I love this pair! The raw hem adds such a fun touch. Since I'm 5'2, I cuff them up to fit a little better, and they still look just as cute. I absolutely love them!

Happy Thursday, everyone! Today I'm styling a few pieces that I purchased from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to create the perfect transitional look that will take you into the fall as well. First up are these jeans! I have officially decided that it is a better idea to invest in a few pairs of nice jeans that I love rather than buying up numerous cheaper pairs in hopes of finding one I love. Nicer jeans just tend to hold up so much better (won't get the sagging in the knees, for example). AG Jeans have always been one of my top favorite designer brands for jeans, and luckily they are usually included in  the Anniversary Sale. The pair I'm wearing here is more than $75 off the original price, making them a great deal. I absolutely love the fit, and the wash is amazing as well! My favorite detail has to be the raw hem around the ankles. But since I'm 5'2, I decided to cuff them up. I adore the way this looks, especially with booties :) These jeans are amazing. They run TTS (wearing a size 25 for reference). I always love to grab up a good pair of denim for the fall during the Anniversary Sale since finding a pair of AG on sale isn't always easy to do. 

Next up are these split shaft booties! They are quite possibly my favorite pair purchased in the sale. My favorite detail is the cutouts around the top...I mean aren't they just gorgeous?!?! They will definitely be put to good use. One other thing that I like to try and do with all of my outfits is have my accessories match. For instance, I aim to have my shoes match my handbag. This is a perfect example of just that! This bag is also another anniversary sale purchase that I absolutely adore. It's roomy and perfect for carrying around all of my necessities (and Madeline's). What I also love about is is that it's a designer lookalike! It's only $52 and looks a lot like this designer bag, if you ask me. It's such a great bag for an even better price! 

Lastly, I have to mention this top. During the Anniversary Sale, I have purchased so many cute tops that are perfect for transitioning into fall and wearing again throughout the fall. This one has the cutest dramatic ruffle sleeve details! It's under $50 and also comes in solid black (perfect for work) and a plum color. It's gorgeous and can be dressed up or down, as I have it styled here.
