Hello friends and happy Friday! I hope y'all have had a great week so far. I don't know about y'all but I'm SO excited for this weekend. One of the reasons I'm so excited is because we are finally getting FALL. I'm talking sunshine, cooler temperature and all that fun stuff. It's certainly about time, and I couldn't be any more excited. Even though it's not quite as cool as I'd like for it to be in fall, I'm not complaining as a nearly twenty degree drop in temps is a reason to celebrate. I'll finally wear my sweaters (out of the house and not just for photo shoots haha). Do y'all have any fun fall activities planned for the weekend? I'm hoping that we can make one of our yearly fall outings happen on Sunday, and I'm so excited!

Something else I'm so excited about is today's look. I think it's appropriate to start with one of my most recent purchases and what is basically the show-stopper for this look. If you guessed my leopard Hunter Boots, then you are correct! I mean how ADORABLE are they?! I think obsessed would be an understatement. I absolutely love leopard and incorporating it into my looks. I have quite a few pairs of Hunters, and I have to say that this pair tops them all. These are by far my favorite pair of all time. They add such a fun touch to so many looks. Prepare to see them styled on here again soon, because I already have multiple looks lined up and ready to go for rainy days ahead. However, I love these so much that I will probably be wearing them in the sunshine as well :) I'd say they run TTS. And if the taller style isn't for you, Hunter also has the leopard pair in a shorter style AND a bootie style. Words cannot express just how fun these are.

Next up is another recent purchase: this teddy bear cardigan! Yes, it's a Target find and y'all I'm obsessed! It is one of those pieces I was not expecting to find (aren't those always the best?!). I love the teddy bear style trend, however I'm not a fan of big, bulky pieces, which is usually the case with teddy bear pieces. This cardigan (actually called a "sweater jacket" online) is by no means big and bulky. It is the perfect amount of cozy all while being easy and breathable enough to wear. I adore this shade of brown. What I love most is the cut! It's longer in the back, and the front ends basically go up in a "V" which I just love. I couldn't say enough good things about this cardigan. It's only $32 and runs TTS.

Lastly, let's talk about all the burgundy haha. Yes, I'm sharing the same burgundy cami in back-to-back blog posts this week. I guess I could say, it's just that good!? Because it is! It's only $24 and is such a great fall staple. I had never thought to pair a cami with the exact same color skirt, but I did here and am kind of loving it! I saw what a fun pairing it was in my closet and thought it would be fun to share. My skirt is only $25 and also comes in navy. I did go up one size for a more comfortable fit. What I love about pairing up this cami and skirt together is that (being the exact same colors), you can pair a handful of different cardigans and boots/booties with the set. So fun, right?!

P.S. Did y'all notice that my hair is darker? Well, it is and I love it so much for fall! Every fall, I like to get it darker and match it up closely to my natural color. I feel like it's a great way to start over with a fresh look. I look forward to doing this each fall :)

Well that's about all for today. I thank y'all SO much for stopping by and just can't begin to express how much I appreciate each and every one of you. Your support and coming back to my blog each and every day means so much to me. Have a great weekend, friends!

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I have my fingers crossed to shoot some new fall content this week, but so far the weather has not permitted. We have quite the rainy week ahead. It seems so strange to have a hurricane this late in the season. It also looks like we are in its path, bringing lots of rain and wind. Sending prayers to everyone who may be affected by the storm. However, it looks like once it moves through, we will finally be getting some cooler temperatures, so if anything, I am excited for that!

Anyways, today I'm sharing two go-to pieces that I'm absolutely loving for fall. Y'all know that I'm a huge fan of all things mustard yellow. I found this gorgeous $56 mustard cardigan and just fell in love with it once it arrived. Another favorite color of mine for fall is burgundy. I love the idea of paring these two colors together. It just looks like vibrant fall leaves to me! It's always a good idea to have several camis on hand. With them being so popular, I was shocked to see this burgundy cami is still in stock in all sizes! Especially considering it is only $24. I would say that a cardigan paired with a cami is definitely my fall uniform :)

I wanted to also touch on two accessories today. First up, these western style booties! They were actually part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They're one of those pairs that I wish I had gotten my hands on and did not do so until after the sale. The good news is that even though I waited, I actually got them even more on sale than what they were for the NSale! They're now 40% off and so so cute. They comes in four colors. I also wanted to mention my bag. I've featured it on here before. But it goes with so much and is the perfect fall bag. I absolutely love having a burgundy bag! It comes in three colors and is under $80. What I love most is that it looks like a much more expensive designer bag (that's more than $2,000!). Huge win, if you ask me!

Well that's about it for today. Thanks for stopping by, friends! I appreciate YOU :)

Recent Purchases for Fall

Recent Purchases for Fall - Something Delightful Blog

Happy Friday, Friends! It's been a while since I have shared some recent purchases. I'm loving SO many things out for fall right now, so I thought it would be a fun idea to share some of the perfect fall pieces I've recently picked up. Let's get started!

First up, how perfect is this cowl neck dress?! I love a good cowl neck. You could style this one a bunch of different ways. It would look adorable layered with a brown vest and booties. Or you could even pair a scarf with it. It's only $45 and come in two colors.

I have been hunting for the perfect pair of leopard pumps. Y'all, these are without a doubt them! They're prices right at $100, and I couldn't be any more pleased. The colors of the leopard print are vibrant and absolutely gorgeous. The shape of the heel is stunning, and they are so flattering on. They run TTS.

I have been looking for more dresses to wear to church or if I have somewhere more formal to go. I am so in love with this knot front minidress! It comes in both black and rust. I purchased it in the rust, however the black is the perfect LBD for fall. I love the criss-cross details with the knot. I would recommend ordering your regular size in this one. In the past, I've sized up with this brand. But this one is pretty true to size. It's under $70! I love it paired with leopard booties, pumps or even tan boots.

Leopard sweaters have been so popular for fall. Each one I have found has sold out too quickly for me to get it in my size. I found this one and love it so much! Mine has not arrived yet, but I'm so excited for it. I adore the colors of this leopard print. It's 40% off with the code "COZY40".

This bracelet had been on my wishlist for a while. A few of my blogging friends have shared it, and I finally decided to purchase it. What I love most is that it's basically almost identical to the designer one that's hundreds of dollars. This one is under $20! My friend Kristin of Fancy Things Blog owns both the real designer bracelet and the dupe. She did a comparison of the two and said that you really can't tell the difference! I was shocked when I saw how they are basically identical.

How adorable is this jacket?! The colors of the stripes were the first to catch my eye. I absolutely LOVE them! I then saw that it's a fleece jacket and feel that I'll get a lot of wear out of this one once the temps cool down. It's under $80 and so cute! Mine hasn't come in yet, but I did order my regular size.

These boots may just be the recent purchase I'm most excited for. I mean...they're LEOPARD HUNTERS! I'm sooooo ecstatic over these, y'all. They arrived today and I'm even more obsessed with them than I thought I'd be. Now I'm just wanting them to come out with a leopard pair for Madeline :)

This scarf is a purchase that arrived yesterday, and it's absolutely too cute. The colors are absolutely amazing. The combination of mustard yellow, olive green and the grayish-purple are just stunning together. It looks more than perfect paired with the henley and sweater I am about to share below. Oh, and it's under $25!

Let me just say, this is a must-have piece for fall! I can promise it will be a go-to. Mine arrived yesterday, and I just ordered it in the ivory as well. It's only $35! It looks perfect paired with jeans. I love a scarf or vest layered over it. It also looks adorable tucked into a skirt. I'm telling y'all it's that go-to top that everyone needs this fall.

The color of this sweater is of course what first caught my eye. Y'all know that I'm mustard yellow obsessed. This sweater also comes in ivory. What I love about this one is that it's a little shorter in the front than it is in the back. With that, it front-tucks into high waisted skirts and jeans so well.

Last, but certainly not least, are these tan over the knee boots. Y'all, I'm SO excited for these! I purchased them last weekend and am still waiting for them the arrive. But I have always wanted a pair of Stuart Weitzman Boots. However, I simply can't justify paying $800 for a pair of shoes. These are under $100. The color looks absolutely perfect and I'm hoping they will be as amazing as everyone says they are. I'll keep y'all updated once they arrive next week. But they're currently 40% off with the code "COZY40".

Well that's about it for today! Which piece do y'all love best? If you've purchased any fun fall pieces, I'd love to hear about them.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Happy Thursday, friends! I hope y'all are having a great week. It has been super busy over here. I feel like the week after getting back from a vacation always seems crazier than usual. This week certainly has been that way. But we are going to see Disney on Ice tonight, and Madeline is more than excited! We have been watching previews of the show over and over. It looks like Ariel, Elsa and Anna are going to be in the show, so of course she's ecstatic to see her favorite characters. I can't wait to see how much she enjoys the show. We missed it when it came to our town last year, so I was determined to get tickets for this year.

Anyways, I'm so so so excited to share today's look as I feel it just screams fall. There's nothing I love more than a piece with some fun detail in the back. This twisted back sweater is just that! I purchased it a few weeks ago and planned a few looks around it. It also looks amazing paired with a high waisted skirt! Anyways, I had been so excited to shoot this look to share with y'all. This sweater was sold out in two of the four sizes, but the exciting news is that they just re-stocked it in all sizes yesterday! Grab it while you can. I love the slouchy fit as well. It gives such an effortless effect. It's under $60 and runs TTS. I'm wearing a XS here. I couldn't recommend this sweater enough! And again I have it paired with my favorite high waisted jeans that I've recommended time and time again. They're under $80!

I also wanted to mention my leopard booties. I love these so very much. The colors of this leopard print are more than gorgeous! I purchased them and literally the next day, there was only one size left in stock. They are selling out everywhere and have proven to be a most popular pair. However, I'm so excited to share that I found a very similar pair by the same brand that's not only in stock in more sizes but is also on sale!! They're 25% off.

The last thing I want to mention is my eyeliner. I get a lot of questions on how to do winged eyeliner. I feel like the photo in this post gives a great example of how amazing my favorite eyeliner is. I've tried multiple kinds and always end up going back to the Stila Stay All Day liquid eyeliner. It's amazing! I don't even have a very steady hand but am always able to draw perfect lines with this one.

Lastly, I just have to say, how adorable is Madeline's little dress?! I found it for 40% off with the code "BIGSALE" and it's in stock in all sizes. I think it's one of my all time favorite dresses of hers. Of course I love it paired with her Hunter Boots. She loves wearing her Hunter Boots and would wear them every day if I let her.

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Have the best day :)

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope y'all are having a great week so far. I'm so happy that we're officially into October. There's something about the arrival of this month that makes me so excited. I love everything this season holds. The fun fall activities with Madeline, the changing of the leaves, all the pumpkins haha, pumpkin spiced everything, Halloween, and so much more. And I feel like it's nothing but festivities from here on out. A month from now we'll be getting ready for Thanksgiving and just two months from now...Christmas! Ahhh that sounds so scary. But it's overall such a fun time of the year, and I was more than ready to say hello to October yesterday :)

Today I'm here to share an easy everyday, fall look with y'all. I do live in sweaters and cardigans these days, but I also love having a few good fall tops on hand. This is one of them! How adorable are the details?! I love pieces that look a little different in the front as they do in the back. It's basically business in the front, party in the back haha. I adore the high/low style and the pleated details in the back. It's so flowy and fun. I also liked the idea of cuffing up the sleeves for a little more structured look. It runs TTS (wearing an XS, for reference) and is under $60! It also comes in black. I absolutely love everything about it! It also looks adorable with jeans and riding boots for a more equestrian type look.

I have mentioned these jeans before. but they're most definitely worth mentioning again. If you're looking for a great pair that fits like a glove, does not stretch, has the perfect ripped detailing in the knees, washes so well and is ideal for petite girls, these are them! They're under $100, but I would say that they easily compare to a much more expensive designer pair as far as quality goes. They come in four different washes and are absolutely amazing. P.S. go up one size as the run a bit small.

And lastly, do yourself a favor and get a pair of leopard booties for this fall! They add SUCH a fun touch to so many looks. I could wear my leopard booties with just about every look in my closet. Speaking of leopard, how absolutely adorable are these new Hunter Boots?! I'm obsessed.

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! I hope y'all have great Tuesday.

Building The Perfect Fall Wardrobe With Sole Society

Thank you to Sole Society for sponsoring today's post!

Building the Perfect Fall Wardrobe with Sole Society - Something Delightful Blog
Building the Perfect Fall Wardrobe with Sole Society - Something Delightful Blog

Hello friends and happy Thursday! I'm SO excited for today's post. (#ad) I'm teaming up with one of my all time favorite brands, Sole Society, to share eight different pieces to help you build the perfect fall wardrobe. I'm styling these pieces in two different looks for fall. They are both so fun yet so different from each other. I can't wait to hear which one y'all like the best :)

If you've been following along for some time, then you know that I am a huge fan of Sole Society. I have purchased multiple pairs of shoes from them, and they have been some of my very favorite pairs. With each season, I know that I can always find that go-to pair from Sole Society. And as always, I end up wearing them too many times to count, because they are just. that. good. The quality is impeccable and the prices are even better. I have also found some of the best accessories to pair with my looks from Sole Society. Another thing I love about Sole Society is being able to get the look for less. I'll be sharing more below, but both of the bags I'm styling in this post remind me of designer bags that cost more than $2,000! However, these are under $100. Ahh I'm so excited to share all the details to these pieces below.

Anyways, when Sole Society reached out to work together for a fall post, I was absolutely ecstatic. There's just something about being able to work with a brand that you absolutely love. I'm so excited to share each of these looks with y'all today.

Dress // Oversize Blanket Scarf (Under $40 and comes in four colors!) C/O // Statement Pendant C/O // Destin Satchel in Camel C/O // Mesh Bracelet C/O // Brighid Booties C/O

For the first look. I'm styling several amazing pieces from Sole Society. The first one to mention is this oversize blanket scarf. I have to admit that I am not a huge scarf person. This is mainly because I hate feeling like I have something wrapped around my neck. This scarf, however, does not feel that way. Yes, it's a blanket scarf, but it is SO soft, cozy and easy to work with. I was able to fold it in half then wrap it around me. The light-weight material makes it so breathable and allows several different ways to style it. I love it the way I'm wearing it here and also wrapped around your shoulders for a shawl type look. It comes in three other colors, and I seriously want it in every color. It's under $40! Y'all grab this one up and you'll thank me later.

The next piece to mention is the Destin Satchel. First off, I adore the color of this bag as it goes with everything. I have it in "Camel", and it also comes in two other colors. I think it's my new favorite bag for fall. It can hold so much, has several pockets on the inside, zips up for closure and has an adjustable strap for carrying it on your shoulder. The best part is that is reminds me of a designer bag that costs more than $2,000. This one is under $70. I love it so much!

Next up are the Brighid booties. If you're looking for the perfect pair of basic, go-with-everything booties, these are them! I have then in the color "honey", and they're the perfect shade of brown. Y'all wouldn't believe how comfy these are. I love the buckle and cuffed details. I would say they definitely run TTS. They're under $100 and come in two other colors.

Lastly for look #1, I have to mention this statement pendant and mesh bracelet I'm wearing here. Sole Society just launched their new hand-made, artisan jewelry line, and y'all, I'm obsessed! I do believe that this necklace is my new go-to necklace. I can't even begin to describe how absolutely gorgeous the details of these pieces are. The pearls are so perfectly placed and make these pieces simply stunning. My necklace is only $42 and my bracelet is under $40!

As I mentioned, both of the looks I am sharing today are so different from each other that it's difficult to choose which one is my favorite. For look #2, I'm styling the most gorgeous cozy, grey cardigan. What I love most about this piece is not only how versatile it is but also what a statement piece it is. Seriously, this piece is most definitely the focal point of your look. I love how cozy it is - literally feels like you're wearing a blanket! As I mentioned, it is so versatile. Of course it looks great with jeans, and it also looks amazing paired with a skirt or layered over a dress for a dressier look. I also must mention that this piece is "one size fits all" so you do not have to worry about the sizing. Oh and it's under $70.

Next up, I want to mention the Eytal Tote. Again, this one looks SO similar to another designer bag that costs over $2,000. When my Mama saw this bag, she actually asked me if it was the designer one! I love the fact that this one has multiple pockets not only on the inside of the bag but also on the outside. They're kind of secret pockets as they're not noticeable but perfect for holding your phone or keys. The detailing on this bag is absolutely gorgeous! And again, it holds a ton! It's under $80 and comes in two other colors.

The last piece to share with y'all today are the Melbourne over the knee boots! First of all, if you are a petite girl like I am, never say that you can't wear OTK boots because you're petite. I'm 5'2 and used to think that. I would shy away from even the thought of OTK boots. Let me just say, you can wear them! You just have to find the perfect pair :) I absolutely love this pair is. They're so versatile and the perfect go-to boot. The slit in the back makes these so easy to walk in, take on and off and just overall much more movable. These are just under $150 and look (and feel) like a much more expensive boot. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Well, that's about it! I would love to hear which look y'all like the best. Have you ever shopped with Sole Society? If not, I highly encourage you to check out their site. I always have a running list of items I'm wanting from there. My current wish list consists of these wedge heel boots, these booties, these pumps and these ruffle booties in grey (if they are re-stocked in my size). If you see a piece you love, please do share it in the comments below. I'd love to hear about it!

Thanks for stopping by, friends! Have a great day.
Delightfully Yours,

*Thank you once again to Sole Society for sponsoring this post! All thoughts and opinions are my own.*
